And incase GGG is wondering. No I do not have 30-45 minutes for each endgame Ultimatum and Sekhemas when I need to run 30-45 minutes of maps at a chance for gear upgrades and map sustain.
really just not sure why they are sticking with such an archaic trade system, every day I pray they add an auction house. I usually play full ssf, but ever since the currency exchange came out I'm playing trade but self-crafting all my gear, only using the currency exchange. I basically live from div to div, i immediately trade them in and dump all my exalts into trying to craft gear upgrades. I can't imagine how exhausting and impossible it would be to get gear upgrades playing full ssf, it's insane how much currency you need to pump into gear to make it even remotely good. Totally agree on the mapping system as well, it's an interesting system in theory and very novel when you're used to 10 years of poe 1 mapping, but its flaws are so obvious after trying to progress through it for even like 10+ hours. However they are clearly listening and making changes, I'm excited for them to get back from break and start really putting work into fixing these broken systems. We dont need build nerfs we need fundamental changes to the barebones mapping they cobbled together in a few months and the slot machine crafting.
@@hunter06292 I believe every league they do for the first year is going to be entirely crafting related. I would actually like to see warband like modifiers return where you drop a magic item with a unique modifier then can gamba from there 😂. I'm not a fan of the tier system, majority of the time the items are still garbage and not worth spending exalts/chaos to "fix".
the thing is, they won't even make SSF more viable for crafting, looting and gearing, because they know for a fact 95% of the playerbase will fuck right off the normal servers and go SSF just to get away from the goddam farce that is trading atm. They should just put the auction house all normal people want in, and make SSF actually not awful to level through at endgame
Agree with entire vid. I'm 200h into SSF now. If your build are dependant on a good weapon, you're fucked because how crafting & good rare drops currently work. Best builds atm in SSF imo are Shockwave Totem Warbringer & Infernalist minions because both do good with a blue rarity 1h, can get +5 melee/minion skills on those. Internalist just stack ES, you don't need res or life. Weird AF but makes you immortal. Warbringer just get Armor/ES bases > life > Life regen. Walk in there, pop totems and hold your 100% raise shield skill. Also immortal almost. My monk needed tons of evasion and super-good gear to feel 1/10th as good. But it's EA still. Changes will come.
@@LunkTheLegend today I dropped a 390 phys crossbow with +4 and I'm tempted to literally play a crossbow build now because of it 😂 I agree on minion stuff. I also think archmage is probably really good in ssf. I swear mana rolls on 90% of the gear I identify. No clue about totems I am not a fan of totem or trap/mine play styles so I just avoid them. I'm almost level 91 on one character, level 71 on another and making a third.
I want to reroll ssf due to how deranged trade is right now, but the amount of grind to even get boss tickets to unlock loot bonuses from tree is insane. If I ever reroll in current state my goal would be just reaching tier 15 maps and proably would stop playing after that.
@@bruvkek4629 I completely understand. Currently I am over sustaining t15 maps but to get to this point it was a grind. I have not seen a single citadel and I am level 90. I have 2 breach bosses but I don't think my build does enough dps tbh. I run out of mana on t18 boss maps with +4 tier to the boss.
As an SSF sigmachad myself, I find the game very unfriendly to SSF. The late game is RNG on RNG on RNG. That's fine in trade league, that's horrible in SSF. I'm currently ranked 277 in SSF, I have yet to see a single citadel. I can't find a lvl 20 gem for the life of me. I can't get a proper weapon despite crafting and reforging every base I find and throwing millions at Alva. Even if I did, I still have no way to access bosses (other than Sanctum and Ultimatum, but screw these). It's not a good end game. I hope they fix it before the end of EA. Also, the tree sucks, all the power was shifted on gear. That's not good for SSF at all, especially with no crafting. And no utility flasks to help your build and no replacement for them.
@@JahIthBer at this current point the only time I've really died is to shock on death effects stacking up or chaos damage if I had low chaos res. Not many things one shot me outside of random rates in t18 maps with insane mods and breach or exped something rippy. That being said I do plan on eventually playing an invoker maybe over the weekend when I have time to really play for more than an hour or two.
After reaching end game with trade...I can not fathom how anyone can play SSF in this game. Every drop sucks, the "crafting" is Korean MMO RNG trash. You HAVE to trade to progress. The solution is to copy Last Epoch's trade vs. SSF faction system, best I've ever seen in ARPG.
I hate to add a bit of salt to the wound, considering you are SSF. Have you seen how insane magic rarity on gear is? At this time, there are videos and posts showing up to 5x amount and rarity of currency, with one post showing almost 30 EX and tons of T15 maps from a single juiced map with 130% on map and 100% on gear. So you already have limited item budget, but the only current way to "fix" it is to stack a ton of magic rarity on gear.
Agree with almost anything, but considering it's early acces I am certain almost anything you mentioned excpecialy with those random irritating endgame things get changed. Also the amount of swearing kinda funny
You are on crack if you think THIS is what they came up with in 4 months of development. This copycat of a game has been in development for years, only recently renovated to appeal to the mass Elden Ring appeal.
Yeah I don’t see this iteration of end game sticking around very long. I would venture a guess that by February the end game will feel a lot different. Once the boys get back from holiday the updates will start rolling out. It’s GGG after all.
@@albeon81 I agree. I hope that the office staff gets a break to sit down with their own game as a product over the next couple of weeks between their family and breaks. That way they can see the issues of the game themselves. Obviously rarity is a concern for many as an example but maybe when we have all the weapon types dropping on the floor it will feel different, who knows.
