Pain makes a blues man fight for the right to live when they ran out of reasons to live. We all have an escape from life but that was Robert Johnson running down on his heart into the greatest blues voice of all time
what people don't understand is that music made back then sounded great to the people that were alive back then, but doesn't to a lot of people today because THE TIMES WERE DIFFERENT THEN. Of course someone today isn't going to think music from way back when was good.
Robert johnson would have been a believer in God. He was very savy in marketing and knew the devil was good for business. I really think johnson was a awesome side player, his rhythms were onother level. Lord thank you for this man.
A black man dressed in a suit and a Gibson guitar in the 20s and 30s, he must have been cool cat. The technical and split brain ability is unmatched to this day. Brozman ( the nonce ) came close but still so far.
You have to play this at 75% to hear as close an approximation to hes real voice. They had to speed it up to fit the record back in the day. You're welcome
It is pain from doing without pain from hunger pain from farming pain from being mistreated by whites pain from loosing his wife and child during birth
I'm not trying to disrespect a fellow musician (RIP), but his guitar playing and sense of timing is just HORRIFYING. If this was from the devil then the devil really screwed poor old Bob over. I'm just saying...
It seems to me that his guitar is functioning as a rhythm section, harmonic section, and solo guitar. This is very difficult to do and was GROUNDBREAKING when he did it. While listening to this, think about the function of the instrument while he is playing and you will have a new respect for what you are hearing. LOVE and MUSIC to you.
@@georgedavis3971 exactly! And if he was so horrible at the guitar and his music he wouldn’t be down in history as a pioneer in music💕 not only what he lead musically but for Afro Americans. There of course is much misunderstanding w icons like such
Well the music you play right now is gonna sound so horrible 100 years to come. That's what time does. He was great then just like some artists are great now.
