this was 1 of my fav. seasons of Private Practice....esp. these episodes where it showed Amelia spiralling (with the death of her friend), then the intervention and subsequent recovery, then everything that happened with her baby. It was a powerful season that's for sure
You're not wrong. But I think Addison generally lost her cool because, when Menu used a sailing metaphor, it made Addison think of her dad (the Captain,) her recently deceased mom, probably a lot of repressed stuff. Pushed her buttons.
She KILLED this scene. The emotion she exhibited as an addict was powerful

This whole story arc was AMAZING, and I really wish we saw more private practice characters on Greys.
I know Addison is worried about Amelia but doubting the sponsor is not a smart move
She is not a sponsor but a payed intervention leader.
