Thanks for this list! I have a lot of these. The OHC's were my focus and I neglected a couple (on purpose lol)
My favorite would probably be Wonder Women by Daniel Warren Johnson. That’s my favorite black label so far. Although, I haven’t read all of them. Great video Jess! You had some amazing reads on there! Green Hell and Aquaman by Ram V are some others I really enjoyed!

I'm glad I could be of help! I missed a couple and a couple of them I didn't really like. There are enough of them though that if you have a favorite character, you should be able to find something you like!
You shouldn’t feel the need to apologize for ranking books of your favorite characters high! I always see people do that, and it’s never an issue. Of course a good book having our favorite character as the lead will make it better for us personality that other good books we’ve enjoyed, it’s normal. This is a great list, and I pretty much agree with it, though I would personally rank Historia & Lonely City Higher than Harley/Joker - it’s a great book but not necessarily my favorite. But Harleen is definitely #1 for me as well.
That's a good point, Bar! I always feel the need to explain my love for Harley so people know there's a bias there but these books go above my love for her and are just really solid

I read some of them and I have others that I didn't read yet for example the Aquaman. I think that I liked Harleen quite a bit and the Wonder Woman Dead Earth was an interesting story worth reading. I read Blaze and it had fun or surprising turns however it was inconclusive. I was not satisfied. Have not read the Catwoman Lonely City yet or The Rogues.
Yeah some of these books don't have an ending that resolves everything. Some books are like that

Looks like ur missing: Swamp Thing Green Hell by Lemire, Joker Killer Smile by Lemire (i get it u got joker fatigue), Batman: One Dark Knight by Jock, Waller vs Wildstorm by Ackerman (newest i think). Just so u know what u might be missing ;). All 4 of those are the big magazine size.
I did cover Green Hell in this. I forgot about Killer Smile as I didn't care for it but I'll pin that as a comment

I have a quarter of the books on the list. Need to read Historia, and I assume you discount Frank Miller's Superman Year One. I loved Joker/Harley:Criminal Insanity which edged out Rogues for my #1. I believe Criminal Insanity got a softcover reprint with a extra issue. After I read Historia, coud change my mind on the list.

I just realized when you mentioned Batman Damned that you were making it clear you were focusing on books in your collection. Some of us will happen to have the ones you don't. have.

Loved the suicide squad story but hated the art. Couldn't see what was going on alot of the time.
yeah I get what you're saying and I agreed with you on my first read through. As I kept revisiting it, it became clearer to me. The main antagonist is purposely portrayed that way as it kind of "vibrates" as an entity but yeah- it does require some really careful "reading" of the art
