Thanks for taking the time to record this video Miss Eve... i have just spent most of the day trying to figure out my machine and using your video has helped tremendously.. if i could i would send a photo of the finished hoodie named towel. just so that you know, i purchased Sew What Pro recently, through your site, and some of the icons have moved. When you do your next video would you be able to zoom in on the icons please as they are very small even on my laptop. Thanks again. Diane, Manchester, England
I sure will! It is WELL past time to do another SWP video. Thank you for leaving your suggestions and You are welcome to email the picture to TheBabysBooty at Gmail dot com.
Thank you for this video! I just started with sew what pro and bought a font package on Etsy. No idea on how to access it from swp. Your video helped me figure out how to open and use the files. ❤
I don't know what to type into youtube or google to ask this, so hopefully it makes sense to you 🙂 What I would like to do is to make a design that is bigger than my 4x4 hoop. I understand that I'll need to stitch out what fits, then rehoop to stitch out the rest. Is there a way in SWP to create 'segments' that can be stitched one after the other to complete the design? I hope that made sense....and what is this called when you do that? Thank you for your videos!
Very informative videos! Your voice is soothing and your instructions are at a pace easy to follow. Question: I used a font - did not write down the name of font - is there a way to go back in and find font used? Also, I need to size a name for a baby blanket...what is best way to size? I sized it after I created the baby's name and did a test stitch out on my machine.....the stitching looked thin. Please help.
There is not a way to go back and find out what font you used.... unfortunately. You can help yourself by noting what font you used in the comments section of sew what pro. Use the resize function to resize the name, but you shouldn't resize the name by too much more than 20%.
life saver!! I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get all the fonts to show in the program without having to keep hitting the merge option. ive learned so much from your channel your time and effort is greatly appreciated! Now, I saw you had the option to download swp on your webpage but for some reason it would not work for me. I haven't purchased yet still using the demo but I would like to try to support you by purchasing from your webpage. Would you happen to know if theres something I am missing that would enable me to download from your webpage? I ended up going to the sands website to download the free trial. thanks again!! binge watching more videos!
If you have the trial downloaded, then all you would need to do is make the purchase and use the code to unlock the demo to the full version... no further download needed! If you'd like to purchase from our site (Thank you!!!) you can and the code will be sent via email.
I just bought SWP and I think it is version 4.3.7 I don't see the Info-Icon View icon. What am I not doing or did they do away with that ? Thank you for all your help
Great tutorial. I want to put a name on my 1.75"x1.75" key fob. Do you have a tutorial how to make smaller sized letters? I stitched it and it doesn't come out right.
Smaller letters are very challenging. It can be done, but it needs to be digitized well. Look up Jolsons embroidery fonts. They have specially digitized "tiny" fonts. In addition to that, look for a thinner weight Embroidery thread such as a 60 weight or even a 75 weight embroidery thread.
You have to have an embroidery editing program to print out designs. Sew What Pro is an affordable option to be able to print designs. The link is in the description below the video.
It is still there, it has been moved to the toolbar below where it was. Meanwhile, you can hit ctrl+I on your keyboard. (Hold down the control key and then press the letter i key on your keyboard)
Are you trying to use the embletters part of SWP? If so, you'll need to get assistance in the FB group "sew help me with SWP". There are more detailed step by step instructions there.
Hi,thanks for the wonderful tutorials.
Do you recommend a good font software program or how do I get fonts on my computer?

Look in the tool bar for the word "Lettering" The first button beside that word is the Info Icon View
Thanks Eve! Very helpful video!
Thanks Kay! I appreciate your comments!
Thank you! Can I ask, can I change my .jef files to DST files with this software?
Yes you can! This program can change to multiple formats.
@@TheBabysBooty Thank you for replying - You have taught me so much about using SWP and I appreciate your giving your time..

Click on HELP in the menu and select "Restore Defaults"
Q: All the fonts on my computer do they get picked up in SWP or do they need to be embroidery file fonts?
For BEST results, use the Embroidery File Fonts. Sew Write "CAN" use your system fonts, but the results are often less than desirable.
Thanks Eve
