You are a very very good teacher......you actually convinced me after watching your video to purchase "So what Pro". I have a Brother LB7000 and it is a 4x4 but i have just learned about "Positional Hooping" to make my 4x4 bigger...I am subscribing for your videos.......Thank you so much!
Lindsey, This is AWESOME! Don't change your style any! I felt like you were talking only to me, showing me how to do all the things I don't understand. Girl, you are AMAZING! I love the way you told me what you were doing and why. I appreciate the way you told me which side of the screen to look at and most of all - I don't know about other people but when I am learning I need repetition! When it is something I really need tell me several times, I don't mind! I am going to watch ALL of your tutorials first before I contact you with my list of questions. However, I have a feeling you will probably answer most of them while I am watching. So I might just need to contact you to say "Thanks a million!"
Thank you so much for going to all this trouble for us. I’m not very computer savvy AT ALL.... I just down loaded sew pro to see if I could do it... now I think I can!!!!! THANK YOU.
Thank you for this tutorial!!!! I'm new to embroidery and was needing a program to combine letters so that they sew out at one time instead of stopping after each letter. Your video was very helpful!!!!
Thank you so much! I am a visual learner, and your video was so very helpful. I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the software to the point of thinking I had wasted my money. Your video was short and sweet and to the point. I love that! I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial. This is exactly what I needed to know as a beginner. I appreciated your pace, not too fast or slow. Simple explanation. Thank you again.
Thank you, ..this tutorial sealed the deal in getting this software. I just got a Brother pe-770 and started with My Editor. Not knowing any of the terminology it was difficult and frustrating. This software makes it seem simplistic (like what I was looking for) thank you and I look forward to seeing your other tutorials.
Thank you for this great video!! I am a newbie and this helped me TREMENDOUSLY! I love how you are straight forward and to the point! I have watched so many tutorials and some of them just ramble and ramble. THANK YOU!!!!
Hi Lindsey, I just watched your video.....thanks so much....I appreciate you taking the time to video this. Learned so much just from watching the 1st time....will watch all your video's.....thanks again!! I needed help....& you make it "Look" easy.....
Thank you so much! Playing with the demo now- I am about to buy this though to go with SewArt- which I personally LOVE! Your video was so helpful to see exactly what this program can do! Thanks a bunch!
Your video was perfect!! I was able to follow step by step and design a personalized applique my first try! I'll definitely watch more of your videos. Thank you
Great job! I've been opening each letter by itself and copy/pasting to each other - just to spell a name! Ha! You've saved me hours of work! Quick tip: Select any object so it has handles - then use the up-down-left-arrow key on the keyboard to move your letters, etc., just an tiny jump (or more). Now I don't have to try to move by mouse! Keep your tutorials coming!
Thank you for the video. I have been wanting to get a program for embroidering names and I think I can find several helpers on here for sew what pro. You were very easy for me to understand what to do and why. I am not computer savvy at all ....so the simpler the better for me. Again thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to do this video. I am new to embroidery. I like how you simplified the software and make it easy for beginners to make project adjustments. Good job, especially for your first try!!
Thanks so much for your awesome video. My only request, more please! You don't talk to fast and you have helped me as a beginner. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Thanks for this video, you are so great teaching here. Yes, I have a boat load of those usb things all over too, I keep trying to get organized with my files and such, Then I find I just get into deeper,LOL Trying to learn about sewwhatpro before I purchase it
This was helpful to me. I'd love to buy an embroidery machine to put names and initials on baby quilts and things I make. I'm trying to find out if I'll have to make a ton of additional purchases to be able to do what I want. I found sew what pro and your tips here were helpful and easy to follow. I'm not a pro and won't 't do a massive amount of embroidery. TFS.
I was able to make a combined image with lettering and it saved but when I tried to load it to my sewing machine it only showed 3 steps out of 15. But because of your tutorial I was able to learn how to make a name PES file and I use it separately to my design. But it works. So thank you!!
Don't change; you're awesome!! No, you don't talk to fast. Just right and I'm hard of hearing. I hear you clearly. Love your teaching style b/c you say What and Why and Where, so now I actually understand!! Yay. I've watched a ton of vids but they click all over screen and talk on n on but don't say anything instructional. If YT ever sets up a rating system you'll be a TEN! Please make more vids. I'm going to buy this software and its b/c of your 13 minutes of review. Thank you so much!! I've subscribed to your channel and hope you'll also do tuts on SewArt, as I want to digitize my own designs. Thanks again and Hello from So California.
I too am new to embroidery and was wondering my version of sew what pro does not have the icon you used to get the entire alphabet to show in your demo. I have updated it as much as possible. Are there different versions of Sew What Pro?
Thank you for your video. Do you use sew write? If yes, do you recommend it? If you do not use sew write, how do you create alphabet files or add letters to your design? Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Lindsey, I signed up for the 30-day trial. I have enjoyed playing with it. But, when it tells me that it only saves the first 3 color stops, does that mean that I can't download it to my machine and get the whole design?
was just wondering if you use the brother SE400 larger hoop. How do you change it to the opposite direction to get more words or a longer design in. Hope you understand this....Lol
Great video! I think you did awesome and you were not going too fast :) Just a tip, unless you knew about it and didn't share. There is a "Center Design" button on the toolbar that you can use instead of dragging the entire design.
Just found you Lindsey...I am really thinking of buying SewWhatPro ...I guess I am just afraid of it...but you have lessened the fear. I would love to see a stitch out of the design you just made. Is that possible? I do have a new Brother PE 770 and still learning it. I would love to learn how to do split designs ..is that possible with SewWhatPro?Thanks for the informative video.
Hi Lindsey. Thanks for the vid. Presently trying out lots of software to see which i like best, Such as PE Design, Embrid, SEU design and explorer.. , They give you a trail. to try out. so far i like PE Design. and i like sew what pro and Sew art. as well.. I'm all over UA-cam watchin vids..
Lindsey, I love your videos. Just downloaded the trial version. I am stuck though, some how I have designs in Adobe reader and adobe wont work. Is there a way I can take them out of Adobe and put them in a pattern folder. It actually hurts to be lacking in computer skills lol. Can you help me?
You talk about this font... and you were talking about sweetheart and the one you used for this sample..... where do you find these at? Thanks for the info.... just dl my trial version today... trying to learn to do this. :) Thanks.
Your video was super helpful but I have a question...I saved the file to my hard drive and its there. When I try to pull it up on my machine only the design is there. The name is not even though I followed the steps to a T. Would you have any recommendation? Thank you!
This Video was VERY helpful...Please so some more.... any chance you can explain how to change stitch design -say a running stitch ..or how to make it look like a sketched design... (if that makes sense)
This was helpful. I have a Bernina B560 which uses .exp file format. Is this compatible with exp files? Does the program come with any fonts and embroidery design files? Thanks,
Do I need to buy the SewWhat Pro AND the SewArt? I tried to import my image into SewWhat Pro and it would not do it unless I use the SewArt. Is this accurate? Or does it include both? Also, does this program not turn an image into an embroidery? From a jpeg, png, etc? I see that I can convert it in SewArt but it makes it look a little weird and I dont know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Hey I think your video is fine. How do you get sew what pro design from computer to sewing machine. When I put it on a jump drive my machine tells me it can't sew from this frame. Someone told me to use a cord from the computer to sewing machine but I don't know how to get the info from computer to machine. HELP!!!
I just downloaded the 30 day free trial which is limited of course. Do you know if with the trial version I can do what you show here using a pic and fonts together? I tried but it won't allow it........
Thank you for your video I'm new to SWP. this really helps me my biggest question is I just downloaded my first font if I make a design with the name can I attaches directly to my PE 770 machine or do I have to put it to a jump drive?
You do have to save to a flash drive, I don't remember if that PE770 has a direct connect cord, I believe its just a flash drive. I am sorry I did not see this sooner!!!
My Machine actually cuts my jump stitches, I am very spoiled! But if you had a PE770 or a machine like that, yes there will be lots of lump stitches. If you get a small pair of embroider scissors I recommend "Kai 4 Inch Curved" they will save your life! I am sorry didn't get to see this sooner chica, i hope you got it figured out!
Great video! Like the step by step explanation-HELPFUL-I have a Brother PE500. I want to do monograms, 3 initials type. Can you do this with SewWhat? Many fonts? Thank you.
I'm having problems for a couple hours, maybe you can help me. I'm new to making designs. I'm using sew what pro and sew art. My designs from sew art transfer to my machine just fine, but not from sew what pro. I'm using brother pe770, any tips? I followed your instructions to the T. TIA!

Glad I could help!
