Personal experience traveling to Australia (woes with public transport, long walks, sudden rains, etc) ..especially if you like to travel with your infant or toddler, don't scrimp on the stroller, you might need go through stairs, bumps, switching public transports (and the driver won't help and leaving big gap between the street and bus platform, also need to be easy to fold (if you need to rush). Don't have to buy super expensive, but durable, long lasting, comfortable for the baby and has the functions you need (as storage, easy to cover with rain cover, easy to interact with the baby, and so on). Easily washable as well, baby might vomit and make mess.
Hi Jeanette & Noti, we are using the mat from brand parklon which is supposed to be from Korea. The cushion layer is the thickest we have come across and our 8 month old son loves crawling on it. We also love changing his diapers on it. Would be happy to share more info if you need.
Carseat is a must ! I reccommend bugaboo butterfly stroller if you like travelling, but the point in choosing a stroller is try to find the easiest one to be opened. A lot of brand offer quick fold stroller, but what a mother in motherhood need is a quick open stroller
It is very normal for a mother to have more than 1 stroller. 1 stroller for traveling (a light and compact stroller) and 1 stroller when the baby is still a baby for the baby's comfort. For breast pump I will highly recommend Spectra dual 9 compact, its a Korean brand and very popular in Indonesia) very comfortable and good. for skin care i recommend Buds or Cethapil. you should also have Sudocrem and buy baby nail clippers. You should really get the trolley that has a few tiers, if you're breastfeeding, you can put like pump machine on 1st tier, den the rest you can put essentials, nipple wipes, milk bottle storage(for breastmilk) wet wipes, tissues, diapers. So you can push around if you need too :) From room to living room in case you not using portable pumps at home hehee. For Highchair wise, still early, you can start to look around 4 months and when they start solids den you use also can, unless you decided to get the stokke baby bassinet Car Seat/Stroller wise, i would recommend Doona BUT can only use from Newborn - 1 year or abit more maximum baby outgrow it very fast. But it's a 2 in 1 so if baby is sleeping in it, you can just collapse it to a Car Seat and put into car don't have to transfer baby from stroller to Car Seat. It can also be used on most of the flights. So when you come back to Singapore, it's useful in Grab/Taxi here too! Haenim is a must get, because it's sterilise and dry the bottles (Keep the bottles clean and bacteria free in it) Instead of airing out in the air :) I use water filter machine to make formula milk for my newborn too (Since the machine has 40 degree settings)
Please don’t forget to buy ear digital baby thermometer 😊, it’s one of the most important thing to have. Actually notti nose sucker that things also inportant, because baby cannot do it, and it can quite frustrating.
I think instead of focusing on brand names of baby products, focus on the safety or features that each product provides for your needs. As for sleeping arrangements for a baby, it's probably best to have the baby sleep in the same room. You're going to be waking up every 2-3 hours to breast feed or bottle feed in the newborn stage. So it's probably easier to have the baby close by.

Thank God I only bought a set of 3. I didn’t use baby box as well as the baby prefers to sleep with me. About stroller, we used it only until she was 10months. She prefers sitting on doona 😅. There are a lot of similar cases, but thank God most of them are presents by friends and family so we don’t feel that much guilty in spending on baby things.

As i know for stroller it self, they were so many type that have different function. If you choose the all in one with car seat, maybe they dont have much space. If you choose the compact one, maybe it dont have suspension on the wheels like the 'normal' one. Or if you buy the 'normal' one, you can have good suspension it's not cabin frindly. Hey Jeanette, you might want to consider a stroller that is travel easy, but allows you to adapt a baby car seat, so that you can do away w the baby car seat once the child is big enough and the stroller will have a longer life span to be used till they are 4-5 for travelling. As example you be like this: ua-cam.com/video/45FZwMYhKTA/v-deo.html This set up is especially useful when the baby is asleep on the car and you wouldn't want to carry them out of the seat to transfer to the stroller. You could just detach the whole seat and attach it over to the stroller. Also, a car seat is definitely necessary, so you might want to find one that can grow with the child. Perhaps this is only necessary to get when they've grow out of the baby car seat that you attach to the stroller. Also the baby chair for eating, they dirty them alot, so we usually just get the ones from Ikea, which is affordable and easy and not expensive to replace when it gets too dirty. As for the rocker that u were looking at to attach to the baby chair (stokke) it might be a bit high and warm.
