Incredibly helpful and improved my flesh painting no end. Didn't think I'd ever paint skin to this standard. The results I got were fantastic. Thank you
Depends on what I’m trying to achieve. For slapping down base coats I don’t think very much, 3:1 paint:water. For layering where I want to add more brighter colours I would go 2:1, maybe 1:1 if I want to blend that layer more. For glazing or adding shadows gently I’d go more like 1:3~4, much thinner
Hi really nice video, really enjoy this tutorial ! Do you think it will be doable to apply this to a gargant skin ? Or the surface will be to large ? Thx and keep on going !
Alex Airal thanks mate! Really appreciate it. Can definitely apply to a gargant skin, will be a good time for it. The technique and recipe can stay the same but you may have to adapt for the larger surfaces by glazing colours a few more time to get the smoothness you want

Dave Parrott great to hear mate! What part do you want to see next?
@@sloanerangerstudio9628 Well I like to work from the inside out so I'd probably go with the legs and feet next
Dave Parrott sounds good to me!
Awesome tutorial mate. Skin is a big weakness in my painting

Did you fully base coat black then zenithal grey/white
Yep Just with rattle cans
What ratio for water would you use to thin your paint? Mine is always too watery
