Ashburn Classic/Carolina Bros BBQ/WO&D Trail/History Lesson & FOOD!

If you don't like barbecue, this video is not for you. Whether you've been on the WO&D Trail in Ashburn, or driven down Ashburn Road, you've probably seen Carolina Brothers BBQ. They've recently revamped their menu and website and made some changes inside, but we've been going there for years and it's an Ashburn best kept secret.
It also has a rich history, dating back to the 1800s. When the WO&D was a working railroad, to the 1980s, when the building was the Partlow Store in Ashburn, one of the only stores in the Ashburn area, which is crazy, especially if you're new to Ashburn because now, as you know, it's a bustling hub with data centers and the Metro (which, by the way, was a plan since the 1970s and the Metro finally came to fruition present day in 2023). Whether you care about the history, or not Carolina Brothers is a delicious restaurant with charming atmosphere and the novelty of being off the bike trail. With homemade food and desserts, including pecan pie - yum - and pork and chicken barbecue, mac and cheese, green beans, ice cream, and more, it has whimsical decor and yummy filling food. My kids and I have enjoyed it for years, and I highly recommend it.
