I bought the men’s 8mm gold plated. Cost under 200 bones and I’ve had it 2 months! People compliment it and it add the perfect accent to my outfits!
Is there anything you do to take care of it?
@@luisorduno don’t wear it everywhere you go. Don’t wear it in the shower or while you sleep. Don’t wear it in the rain. Mine is holding up well and I usually wear it to work. Nice chains! And you don’t have to pay over 1,000 bucks for a full good.

The thing is if it's real gold it will always hold a value so its seen as an investment. but I agree with you
I bought a 14k solid gold necklace in 2003 and its value today is up crazy. Also, I wear it every single day. Looks, ocean, wherever… doesn’t tarnish, doesn’t fade. That’s what I’d pay for. I got a Jaxxon chai recently for $100+- and it faded quick over the summer. Doesn’t look nice anymore.

Nothing "fake" about this chain, it's a precious metal (silver), plated with another precious metal (gold)... There's a difference between fake jewelry, and an affordable alternative... lol

I have had the Cuban for 3 years and out of the 3 years I broke the crab claw and they sent me a new one. It has lasted well. I wear it 24/7 shower with it and it’s held up.

I probably going to get two other chains. Maybe the 8mm, 18" (Pause). Cuban and maybe the rope chain.

Thank you for clarifying "bonded" as basically plated. I have an old 10k chain and recently ordered a nice looking 10k cross pendant from Bayam. Do you know if Bayam is legit or they bonded like Jaxxon?
Bonded, plated, vermeil, etc are all different names for the same thing. The differences come down to how thick the layer of gold is but they're all in terms of microns which is thinner than a piece of hair
@datboi__ does that go for all 10k gold? I have a chain I've had for 25 years and it's still shines.
@@joemacs7114 no. if it's solid 10k it's solid and won't be plated. I've heard of some people saying they have 24k or 18k plated solid 10k but idk i've never seen that they might be misinformed or who knows people do weird stuff. but yeah solid gold no matter whether 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k, 24k will be the same forever because there is no top layer to rub off. I'm not sure why someone would make a 10k plated silver chain though tbh because it wouldn't be much more expensive at all to make it 14k plated
Bayam says they are legit 100% gold. I just bought one myself and I can’t wear gold plated or bonded jewelry. So far I’ve worn mines everyday and no rash.

Their Cable Link Gold over Silver Chain faded in less than a year. It was a 22” 5mm.

Ive had both a Jaxxon gold chain and a 10mm bracelet. Both were junk. The thin layer of gold starts wearing off as soon as you start wearing it. I wore both daily and the chain looked silver in 6 months. The bracelet looked silver in about 8 months.
That's what I heard they fade.
Probably wearing it under the wrong conditions. Heavy sweat, chlorinated water or even cologne or lotion damages the finish. I have plated chains last indefinitely. Dont buy if you don't take care of them. Get a solid chain.

How many wears before it turns? Seems you were able to scrub the plating off very easily.
I purchased the iced 10mm Cuban from them but it’s only for a once in a blue moon wear. I already have two solid Cuban chains a 10k 7.7 mm 93 grams and a micro Cuban 14k 4mm plus a 9mm bracelet 50 or 52 grams so I’m not worried how this new Jaxson will turn out lol
