I like your reviews of the various TVs you show but it would be even better if you could show a quick close up of the remote control..
Thx for video very good .I have xf90 2018 mid range the best tv I've ever had.Love for fald(standard level fald) more zones on backlight FALD or even beter master drive backlight and this tv makes be perfect lcd tv.
Great review.
Where I am I can get the Sony XF90 for £888 and the LG SK8500 for £683. I will be using the TV as a PC monitor, 4k HDR movies (probably one movie a week) and some PS4 gaming (once or twice a week). My room is not too bright and I don't like watching movies in the dark. Given that, which would you recommend ?
Hello, we don't stock the SK8500 at present so I can't comment on that. Generally if you want to use a TV as a PC monitor, check that it doesn't have burn-in. This Sony XF90 TV doesn't have the greatest TV lag rating for gaming but that only really matters if you care about competitive fighting or shooting games.
Marks Electrical Thank you for replying :)
I pretty much sure the 65SK9500 you reviewed is the 55SK8500 where I am (or so the dealer claims).
Perfect video thanks. We want new videos.
Thanks Seyhun, please subscribe.
Bit of a techie question... If I was to pass a 1080p signal through an amplifier that can upscale to 2160p to the TV (essentially giving a 4k signal to the TV), will the input lag still be at the worse end in gaming mode?
Just bought this TV (not from yourself sorry) and will be delivered next Saturday so I'm curious. Thanks for the review.
Although I can't comment on this particular process, (not having tried it on this TV), I can confirm that as a general rule, any form of upscaling usually adds a degree of lag. However, again as a general rule, unless you're playing games that require very quick reflexes like multi-player fighting or shooting games, the extra lag probably won't affect you much, if at all.
Hi Mark would you recommend the LG b8 over this Sony?? Thanks
Hi Harry Dunn,
We do not currently stock the LG OLED55B8PLA so we can't comment on that.
Does this tv do well with gaming under 4K ie the PS4 Pro? I'm sure you said it has an input lag of less than 43ms?
Hi Adam, the input lag is around 43.3 msecs, but it should serve the PS4 Pro well.
@@MarksElectrical 25 ms. for 4k resolution
How would you say this compares to the LG 49SK8500PLA 49"?
We feel that the Sony edges it Matt. LGs WebOS user interface smashes Sonys' but the peak brightness of the Sony allows for a brighter display with a much better HDR experience. Hope this helps.
nice video
Hi Mark, is this TV any good for gaming? Specifically FIFA
Hi Imran Khan,
This model has an input lag of 43.3 milliseconds in game mode. If you are looking for a television for gaming, we would recommend that you choose one that has an input lag of 30 milliseconds or less in game mode. We hope this helps!

Thanks, what products do you have at 55" which has 30ms input lag or less
Hi Imran Khan,
We're glad we could help.

Yes would be great! until you playing in 4k (24.5 ms), (1080p - 43 ms.)
Also is this alexa compatible?
Hi Adam, as far as we know this model is Amazon Alexa compatible, thanks.
