I stumbled across your show about a week ago and haven’t been able to stop watching, serious, you, your music and your guest are gold. Something, well I’ve taken many wise things from your show so far and I beyond grateful for the wisdom shared, but the thing that sticks with me is the thing I have in common with the guys that have been in prison. I have been trying to adjust to the world after a long stint of battling mental health issues. Every time I think I’ve gotten to a step towards getting further in life, I get thrown back in my cell. I fight demons, battle with so many things inside that I relate to men in these situations. I find so much inspiration from your show because it has to be possible for me. If I am not held in by the government, then I have to be capable of releasing myself and I have to be able to heal. I can become the person I know I want to be. I am from the LA area, we moved away about 20 years ago. I lived a hard life before leaving, from birth to now actually. My husband was shot a couple years before we left, and I was on my way to prison or death. I have come from a lot of different experiences and I know I am redeemable as well. Thanks for this, and know you reach more people than you probably think you reach with this platform. Thanks again, this isn’t easy to type and share.

@1:11:00 The Goonies final scene was not filmed at Pelican Bay. It was filmed at Goat Rock Beach in Jenner California. Like an hour away from Frisco, 7-8 hrs away From Pelican Bay. Sorry I’m a nerd and Went to the Entire Goonies Film locations/Museums in Astoria, Oregon and was disappointed when they said the ending scene was next to San Francisco where we went prior to Oregon 🤦🏻♂️. Wish I new that ahead of time so 3 years later I knocked it off the list!
