The purpose of it was to give captured IRA fighters 'political prisoner' status instead of criminal status...which would change their treatment while detained.

Sorry I’m a nerd and Went to the Entire Goonies Film locations/Museums in Astoria, Oregon and was disappointed when they said the ending scene was next to San Francisco where we went prior to Oregon 🤦🏻♂️. Wish I new that ahead of time so 3 years later I knocked it off the list!

Sorry I’m a nerd and Went to the Entire Goonies Film locations/Museums in Astoria, Oregon and was disappointed when they said the ending scene was next to San Francisco where we went prior to Oregon 🤦🏻♂️.
