This video and the first one were very helpful to me to see how this machine really works as well as how an average joe might jerry rig the fix instead of paying $30. I am rewatching the fix it video because same thing happened to me. Think your chickens are cute. I hate negative comments when people aren't eating there. Getting ready to hot glue mine even though I already bought a new part. Love Emeril but will not replace with the same one again.

I just bought one and bought a 4 year extended warranty too.
What do I do if the screw cap is stuck?
What I've learned is to just be VERY careful when reinserting the paddle, while supporting the back piece with my hand.
Would epoxy glue or super glue work for this?
Epoxy would be far better than hot glue. Superglue may damage the plastic washer. Just my thoughts - I am not a food safety expert.
