Ant-Man was a superlative character in that he remains a classic character; but allowing the Scott Lang iteration as opposed to the more emotionally closed Hank Pym was brilliant...and of course Hope in lieu of Janet allowed the long time fans to maintain some continuity. AND Marvel still included those characters as well so we were never shortchanged. I realize that a fair percentage of modern viewers may see Ant-Man/Wasp as a lesser draw character but as usual it's the detail that creates the stories behind the story. Thank you Russos for bringing these characters to life and for feeding so many generations of fans a veritable feast. Hi RDJ! You walked the walk that was required to get us all in line. still I would love to see the emotionally closed Hank Pym in his prime some day. He is such a fascinating character like an old school scientist from monster movies from the 50s. Who knows maybe if they do a big Kang storyline involving time-travel we could see the Avengers going to various time period in Earth history, we could see a young Pym with Janet.

I had a job at the Disney studio Commissary in Burbank for 4 years 2016-2020. I grew tired of the work required at the job itself, but the people were absolutely incredible. Both Joe and Anthony were always so cool. One time breakfast had just closed at 10:15am and Jon Favreau came in asking for eggs. The cook told him the grill starts up again for lunch at 11am.. The head chef was mortified, and a Star Wars fan. "If Favreau wants two eggs, you make him two eggs!" i legit remember hearing.
I sure don't predict everything correctly, but I remember the rumors going 'round about RDJ potentially being Iron Man back before the casting was complete, and I was one of the fans on every forum saying that RDJ was literally perfect. I've been a Marvel fan since way back, and I knew Tony Stark. I understood this broken, imperfect person, who was cocky and brilliant on the outside, but a haunted, regretful addict on the inside. And then RDJ... yes he had the looks, the charm, and the bad boy swagger, but more than that, I knew because of the challenges he had gone through, he had a personal history he could draw upon emotionally to be this richly layered character, and he had a desire to rehabilitate himself in a way that perfectly mirrored Stark's desire to better himself. Robert's success and personal growth vis a vis Tony Stark always brings a bit of a tear to my eye. I am so grateful as a fan of the comics and for RDJ himself that this opportunity presented itself and he took it on with such dedication. Sometimes amazing things do happen in this world.
About Paul Rudd being memorable entertainment.... of course he is. Even when he doesnt speak he entertains. That part where Thor is going off on a tangent about the reality stone and everyone else looks at Thor like he's lost his mind but Paul Rudd is the only one that was happy lit up and entertained by what Thor was saying. That face right there will always be memorable

I would totally would watch a movie /comics about the avengers facing some villain during those 5 years post-snap, that would be awesome to watch them fight a powerful enemy while being totally broken inside.
Just saw Endgame again last night. It' holds up quite well. It actually gets better with repeated viewings. I'm still in awe that they pulled it off so successfully.
I couldn't figure out how to post a question until it was over! Oh well, I hope they do another online chat. I admire the Russo Brothers for making it look like working with a sibling is easy. I wrote two plays that my sister and I produced together. She directed it, but...it was definitely a major test of my patience! But we couldn't argue in front of the cast, though. But we had full houses most of the time, good reviews, and a nomination for an Elly award, which was a local theater award that was sponsored by the Sacramento Bee newspaper. We didn't win, but it was good to be nominated. I did wrote another play which we also prou Ed together, and it was also nominated for an Elly award. We didn't win, but I knew I couldn't go through all of that again. I don't know if the Russos have figured out a system, but my sister and I were arguing as soon as we left the theater. And we never worked together again!
That would be very interesting! I'm sure Pepper wouldn't mind if Peter stopped by to visit every once and a while. He's always busy trying to balance his Spiderman responsibilities with his home and school life (and he's never been very good at that), but an occasional visit to see how Pepper and Morgan are doing would probably be greatly appreciated.

It could've been three or four, and many of us missed the Easter eggs. I certainly did, and I've been reading Marvel comics since the mid 60s. This universe's version of Iron Man died, but there are supposedly more in the multiverse.

*Russo brothers* a 3 re-release of endgame and infinity war in cinema is a very good idea because endgame will very likely make 3 billion if endgame and infinity war released worldwide like usa china etc. endgame still needs 200 million it has 2,8 billion (if endgame in May 2019 would not have very strong competition the 3 billion would have been there for info short)
