Again, a great video! I tried this out today with my horse with stifle issues. He really! loved it. I received a lot yawning and he asked for doing it a second time. Greetings from Germany
Thanks for demonstrating these useful techniques! Question: when I do a gentle tail pull to the side, my horse balances himself with the muscles on the side to which I'm pulling rather than the opposite side as you indicated. Any tips or tricks I can use to make sure I'm doing this correctly? Appreciate it:)
Hi, I don't know if I'm asking too late for you to answer, but when I do the tail pull to one side my horse cocks the other side's leg so it looks like he's resting that leg and then really braces in that direction, pulling away from me, but while resting the leg. Is he getting the benefit if he's resting that leg? I can't figure out how to make him stand square and keep standing square while I'm doing that exercise. Thank you and I hope that makes sense.

yes, it sounds like he is counter-balancing as expected. This is correct.

Is it one that you could do everyday as just a warm up and not just when you are rehabbing a horse?
It is definitely a great PRE-hab exercise as well! It is not just for rehabbing, thanks for asking so I could clarify this.
