If I wasn't a one-man-band always strapped for time I'd 100% do more stuff like that
Set up the back wall with a dining bar (with barstools) and the TV on a televator. Then the slides can be couch on one side, recliners with a full pantry on the other side. Maybe throw in a small freestanding table to use with the couch if necessary.
NOTE: I'm not a big TV person, so I'm ok with not-so-perfect viewing angles...
The big guy is not a big tv person. My brain melted a bit processing that lol
I’ve said it before, Cougar RVs are chef kiss. This model wouldn’t be the RV for us, but 👏👏👏 for such a great floor plan in a short foot print.

Ive been warching for years. Was a boater. Have a 197bh and i sleep in the double bunk so i have a couch and dinnette in a small space. Big bathroom too. You are a gem and the best and most fun rv person out there

Love all of these huge windows in the living room. Love the new table and chairs. Love all of the over head cabinets. Nice kitchen with all of this space. Nice tv. Love the bath room. Nice bedroom. Like the closet slide. The Oninimg is a little samll. Wish it was bigger. Wish it had a xl vet fan. Have a great weekend josh!

Ooo. I REALLY like this one, as the chairs are so much easier to remove and resell (or store) so that there's room for the cat tower as well as the sewing dress form.

Put a tall pantry to the right side of the kitchen cabinets. I would also put a sleeper sofa on camp side slide with a free standing table. I would also remove stands by recliners and rotate recliners to face each other with a free standing table in-between. Why , because most of time you back into camping spot and the best view is out the back window, river view ,lake view, ocean view. config. would offer additional 2 person bed, large pantry, easy viewing to outside rear, extra table . For me this would be the perfect RV. Thank you josh I believe you are a cut above the rest ! 👍

We love ours! (23) Might change the table now that I see how much more usable it looks. That rear vent can be annoying by the recliner btw.

Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I like what they have done with this Cougar! I like that they give you two recliners instead of a theater seat, an the dinette is awesome. The one thing that I don't get is why the fresh water tank is smaller than the grey tank? I think the fresh water tank should be bigger an the grey and black tanks should equal out to how many gallons the fresh water tank is. Lets say the fresh water tank is 80 gallons then the grey and black tanks should be 40 gallons apeice, that my thinking on it. But they knocked this Cougar out of the park! Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this Cougar fifth wheel and giving us the good information an the not so good information on it like losing the kitchen in travel mode. @@JoshtheRVNerd Yup! Checks all the boxes for me. This one is perfect for those who are going to spend most of the time inside and use it as an upscale hotel. I prefer the other for the awning coverage outside. We haven't made it to the point where we aren't able to enjoy the outdoors and it fits better. This one is nice though. Definitely in the running for last rig.
Oh and our prayers were answered. Nash finally updated the decor and they are now perfect 💯

TBH I’d like to see the Montana 330RL floor plan in this smaller version. I like the windows and opposing sides. The tv blocks having a window on the slide ok, ok. Personally I don’t like the chairs and table prefer a bench style set up bed conversion. I prefer a mid kitchen vs rear. And the shower standard box not radius!! This is close to what I want in my next 5ther.
They used to have a smaller montana called a 281 but it didn't prove ultimately popular

The diagram shows hidden storage behind the fireplace. Does it have a door that opens up to the hidden storage like JAYCO’s version of this camper does ??

Thank you Mr. Nerd. Is that a leather/pleather material on the sofa and recliners? Uggg.... if it is. Almost looked like the tv wall mount was off to the side near the slideout in the bedroom? Hopefully the slide wouldn't hit the tv.
I'm unsure how a bedroom TV may clear there. You'll definitely want to watch for that

Everyone has varying opinions. I will say rack and pinion is often referred by owners over anything else
Like that rig but I don’t like that the recliners have to be turned every time u pull the slides in! 😢
A little short on awning to sit under. They could put another on on the slide to.

I always liked cougar. I would question buying one now that they seem to be using accuslide slide systems.

Can you replace the recliners and side stands in the back with a sleeper?
You cannot. There is not enough room for the slides to close with a sofa. That's why it has the chairs -- they can turn sideways to allow the slides to close
The only problem I see is does the bathroom cabinet hit that towel bar?

Sofa, theater seating switched, not a good idea. Shorter statis people, like my wife, might have problems seeing over the dinnett seat. She's 5'. In a reclining position, probably a problem. And a lack of a pantry, would be a deal breaker.

A while back. I sometimes am in situations where I am batch recording RVs, then I stagger the rollout so you're not getting like 17 cougar videos in a row

Jump to the part in the bathroom where I'm standing in the shower. With shoes I'm about 6'2"
The shower height is the same as the rest of the upper deck until it tapers down by the bed

Lack of a pantry is an auto disqualifier for me, and the kitchen as a whole is underwhelming. Other that that, it's a pretty good floor plan.
