Annecy, France in 4K (UHD)

#Annecy is a small but very picturesque town located in the east of #France, near the border with Switzerland on the shores of the lake of the same name, which is considered the cleanest in #Europe.
Annecy is often called the "Venice of Savoy" because of the many canals and streams running through the city.
The official founding date of Annecy is 876, when the village was first mentioned in documents created during the reign of the French emperor Lothaire.
At various times, the city was the fiefdom of the Counts of Geneva (X-XIV centuries), the Dukes of Savoy (XV century).
Annecy was actively developed at the beginning of the twentieth century, population growth and the pace of construction of industrial enterprises increased, and tourism became one of the key sectors of the area.
