I've been planning to visit France with my husband. But kind of apprehensive about it. But seeing this city Annecy I like it a lot. It has everything it seems water, old building, mountains, places to shop and doesn't look intimidating. So my next trip in Europe is France!
You should! Annecy is amazing you can definitely spend a few days exploring. As many have said Annecy can be very busy in high summer season, but go early in the day on a week day, You can find quieter times. HI 👋🏻 Yes, it’s amazing, the lake is fed with glacier water and is one of the cleanest lakes in Europe, there are very strict environmental controls to care for it. Italy is not very far from there, on the other side of the Alps. The region (Savoy) has been French since 1860 only. Until then the region was part of the Kingdom of Piedmont Sardinia (that included Northwestern Italy), and the craddle of the House of Savoy that reigned over it, then over Italy until 1945.

It’s awful that people are homeless in such an affluent city. Sadly there are homeless in many places in the world. However we saw a lot of kindness on our travels and people would offer food/drink or just sit and chat a while. Thank you for watching, have a good day 😊
