I watch this video and got all amped up to drive my Chevelle. So this morning I pulled my 74 Chevelle out and there was a little rain cloud sprinkling around my house. I'll drive right out of this i thought but I drove into a terrible thunderstorm in a 600 horsepower Chevelle with slicks on and no heater now I'm stuck at a gas station with my windows fogged over after hydroplaning alot on the freeway and the roads are flooded.thanks Hert.

The sound his 13b makes during/after firing up reminds of the the sound my straightpiped mopet used to make. Without backpressure from the choke and muffler and with full open throttle it would spit flames and pops out of the exhaust. That thing was so wild it was hard to slow down without disengaging the clutch. Great video tho

I bought an '86 porsche 944turbo at 19yo and loved the "secretary's special." Kalahari gold paint, alum.alloy cookie-cutter rims.. Mazda may have been inspired but the 944's hourglass figure shifted the paradigm, for me- from the hotwheel corvette. I was raised on american muscle but got a newfound respect for turbocharged 4bangers. Couple years ago i bought an '88 cressida from a friend (stock, plush, clean minus some clearcoat) having never heard of the model. Blew the 5mge, so now it sits. I learned a 2j's motor mounts fit directly into the cressida and the dream began. Now 34yo, stewing on getting my mid-life crisis started. Love the channel! Holla if you wanna help ((:::

Idk why but it makes me laugh at 1:39 how the engine sound basically just cuts and the car still spins like it’s an RC car on linoleum or something. My dad has a badass F1 RC car when I was a kid and I would drive it around in the kitchen because it was the only place in our house without carpet that had any room to do anything, and the car would do the same exact thing! You would hear the electric motors whine then cut out as you went for a tight little spin like that and when they cut out it was just silent sliding. It just takes me straight back to my childhood seeing Hert’s car do that.

That's the beauty of a turbo rotor engine tuned beyond normality.
Sounds like Antilag but it seems weird for it to idle like that for a while...anti lag you turn off when you don't need it
zevi 2000 Its gotta do with the design being a Dorito... Lets the motor flow vs pump. Remember a gas engine is essentially an air pump.
The rowdy idle comes from it beeing bridgeported. Basicly got two intake ports into each rotor as compared to one stock.
