I'm 57. I used to get a Raggedy Ann every year for Christmas because I wore them out. Will ALWAYS love the Raggedy's and the books. Thanks. Rachel and Mr. Green.
I love the fabric on Mollye's Raggedys. The multi-colored stripes on the legs are so cheerful. I'll never own a real one, but it is tempting to try to make a doll in that style. So very loveable!
I cannot even with this video! 💕 A cameo of from beautiful Miss Holland who is like a ray of sunshine for me today on a rough one. Her laugh and smile is beyond precious. Raggedy chat with the expert and always dapper Jonathan. I’ve only ever seen Molly dolls in my Raggedy collector book, so this was incredible. Molly dolls have an interesting back story and honestly they’re so darn cute. I cannot believe the wonderful condition they’re in for their age. I was so excited when you found their sailor hat and apron. I have an Applause 36” pair in like new condition with tags still attached from FAO Schwarz. Picked them up from my local antique store on sale. They’re huge and I love them! They’re only from 1991 per their tags but they just brighten my doll room up. My oldest doll is from 1960-ish. I use to think Knickerbocker’s were my favorite but it’s getting to the point where I love them all. LOL! Your Vollands are breathtaking as is your winter scene. The way you set your Molly dolls reminds me of a sweet drawn picture one might see in a Raggedy Ann book. Thank you so much for an informative, amazing and fun video! ❤️🧶
Wow! In my searching, I have never seen any of the Molly Raggedy's. Of course as the story goes she shouldn't have snitched the design anyway... I have 3 lovely Georgene's, a few Knickerbockers and some Applause, One set of my Applause are 36 inch. They are a delight and in lovely shape. I don't know if they were displays but maybe, as they don't show any wear and tear. I found them at a thrift store for $6 each! I would like to someday find some Vollands and maybe a Molly...I am currently sewing Raggedy Ann dolls for my grand daughters. I have menti oned before, you are the reason I collect them. A long time back you read a Raggedy Ann story on your channel and that's what got me started. Thanks!! We do love the dolls!🌹😊🌹
Hi Rachel, I enjoyed this video very much!!! When my daughter was little, she loved Raggedy Ann. Her Ann and Andy dolls were the Knickerbocker series. I loved their cotton hair. The later ones had a different type yarn hair that was scratchy. Love your videos and am a subscriber. And, I enjoy seeing Holland Diane. She is really growing. Please tell Linda that it is so much fun to watch her fix and mend the old dolls and their clothes. Love to ALL!!!
Love this video! Love the older Raggedy Ann and Andy! So much information and fun to watch! Of course Holland Diane's contribution of cuteness always puts a smile on my face!
Just an FYI: for the face age spots dot them with Hydrogen Peroxide on a Q-Tip and let air dry . I read this in an old doll repair article from many years ago and tried it on a old handmade cloth doll from Ebay. She was bad and in all these years the spots have never reappeared, This did not bleach the cloth in any way-just killed the mold spots. She still looks amazing. Love the video!
Rachel, I LOVE Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy because my Late Dad bought me a Raggedy Andy when I was a small Child and I still have him today:)!! I so LOVE those Molles Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy too:)!! Linda did an AMAZING JOB weaving Raggedy Ann's hair:)!!! Linda made it look like Raggedy Ann's hair was never disturbed at all:)!! Linda is amazingly talented:)!!!!!!! I LOVE how Linda soaked and ironed Raggedy Ann's apron as much as how Linda ironed Raggedy Andy's cute sailor hat:)!! And I so LOVED hearing Johnathan Green's take on The Molles:)!!! Thank you so much for sharing these super cute Molles version of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy:)!!!! And I so LOVE to see Holland Diane's smile in every video because she is so beautiful:)!!! It would be so cool if an actual Baby Doll was made in her image:)!!!!
I loved the video, I've always wanted a raggedy Anne but my parents think they are weird. It just makes me happy that they're are other people that enjoy dolls😊
I love Raggedy Ann and Andy. They are in great shape for their age.My Mom made me Raggedy Ann for my 8th birthday. I have the pattern but have made one yet. You reindeer is amazing. And Holland is adorable as usual. Stay well and safe. From Tennessee
I had a Raggedy Anne and Andy as a young girl, I loved them. I sure wish that I had kept them. We moved around so much as kids, I’m sure everything was passed on to someone. Thanks to both of you, I learned a lot about them.🙏🏼🥰🥰
Loved this Video Rachel but there will never be a cuter doll in your shop than Holland Diane. Let's see if this Raggedy Ann will keep company with my beloved Beloved Belindy I got from you a few years ago.
Argh! Too many errors, so I'll start again. Hi Rachel! Can you tell me how tall the smallest Rageddies were and whether the patent is still in force. I am looking for a tiny one for my Schoenhut kids to play with.
Hi! I’m not sure on that but you could definitely make a pair for your own enjoyment. The patents are in force so other businesses can’t make a similar product and market it. You’re fine!
I am 83 and have a pair of beautiful, mom made, not a copy of originals but definitely remarkable Annie and Andy dolls. Would you like to see a photo of them? I would take a photo and send it to you. I may be interested in selling them. What address would I use?
Cool video! I have a question about the springford inc raggedys, did them have license to create them, or are they only copies of the brands such as Applause Or Knickerbocker? I havent found info about Springford Raggedys
Hello, my name is Sheila. I loved this video, i am actually going to make a Raggedy Anne doll, what sewing pattern would you recommend and believe it or not, the red and white striped leg fabric is really hard to find. Thanks again for making this video and would love to see the rest of your dolls
I have 83 year old 2 1/2 feet Ann and Andy dolls. In great condition. They have the original I love you hearts. I cannot figure out the value of these. Is there a source?
I have an old old Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls thoes ..mine are as big as them 2 big Ones l have been thinking about selling them. Mine are just regular Raggedy Ann and Andy
O just noticed that I possibly have one of those raggedy Andy dolls it has the heart and sailors ha that I priced in the video any way finding out if it is or the value
I had to watch this video again. I am sure Rachel has had a sad time dealing with and reporting on the self inflicted death of Jonathan Green. (My own father took his life in 1989). I am the person who won both the Store Display Ann and the 22" Andy that this video is about. I had just bought a Transition Pair from Jonathan, just prior to this video, so in a message on eBay to him, I had told him I was looking forward to this auction, and then I did tell him that I won the auction, and he told me he was going to list on eBay the Patent Molly-e Raggedy Ann doll that he is holding in this video and I did subsequently win this precious Patent Ann from Jonathan. I have purchased 15 Raggedys from Jonathan in the past 2 1/2 years. He will be missed.
The Raggedy Ann and Andy's are so cute and never go out of style.❤
I'm 57. I used to get a Raggedy Ann every year for Christmas because I wore them out. Will ALWAYS love the Raggedy's and the books. Thanks. Rachel and Mr. Green.
Thank you so much for tuning in!
Rest in peace Jonathan Green.

Thank you for the tip! We will try that on a doll sometime.
My son lovs Raggady ann
Those are nice looking dolls and great to have their original clothes. Funny how the large raggedy Anne doll resembles Linda. Thank you Rachel
She does not resemble Linda, LOL!! That made us both chuckle.

O just noticed that I possibly have one of those raggedy Andy dolls it has the heart and sailors ha that I priced in the video any way finding out if it is or the value
Researching online is the best way or books, compare the faces and look closely for the features that help identify it.
My papa owns 2 raggedy Ann dolls and I like the smaller one
Love the small ones! Thanks for watching!

And I’m glad you got these dolls, too.
