I install the full upgrade interior kit from Autobeam in my Mk7 Fiesta ST.
The kit consists of:
4 roof lights
2 foot well lights
1 glove box light
1 boot light
The difference is incredible. I chose white and to go from a dull yellow to a crisp bright white was night and day, pun intended.

Good video. What an amazing difference. I am in the middle of making a list of which autobeam bulbs I need to change my bulbs to LED (the list seems to be getting longer) on my Fiesta mk7. I am going to be buying the sequential mirror indicators as well. It can be the little upgrades which make the big difference.

What happens if the bulb light doesn’t come on? Any way of sorting that?
Autobeam instruct to take it out and turn it 180 degrees and try it then. Check the website and packet the bulb came in. If it still doesn't work, contact Autobeam.
Do the footwell lights cut off after you drive off ? Or do they stay on always ?
The work in the same way the standard one do and turn off themselves, same as if you just open your door, they will turn off after a while. Thanks for watching.
Great video but I just dont see the point of wanting to upgrade interior lighting to super bright where you'll see a dirty interior during the day and at night 😂 purple or another colour but white to me is just 😕

For me the center light won't turn on no matter what rotation the bulb is in, using a spare also doesn't change it, any idea why that could be?
Does it work with the standard bulb? If not it may be a connection or wiring issue. If it is a bulb that is the same as another you onstalled that is working, try swapping them. That might show if a bulb if the issue or if it is your centre light unit. Also, I know it sounds simple but check the switch too.
@@fordyford it was working with the original bulb, I'll try swapping the original back in and switch the plastic holder thingy with another one
Contact Autobeam directly if you can't get itnto work. I assume you are using the correct bulb in there.
My video is a couple of years old now so if your kit is new, there is a chance Autobeam have revised and updated some things.
@@fordyford hey, i fixed it by bending one of the contact patches on the black plastic thingy that holds the bulb, everything is working great now!

Did you get any errors with these bulbs or any flickering ?
I haven't had any errors or issues with how the bulbs work. They are still in to this day and working fine.
@@fordyford Thank you for such a fast response, I made the mistake of buying some led bulbs on eBay and even tho they said they had canbus protection they used to flicker and stay slightly lit even when the lights were off, I also think it affected my headlights I've now taken them out. I've recently purchased sidelights, fog light, reverse light from autobeam I haven't fitted them yet I'm going to do it tomorrow, hopefully they will all work fine. I will look at getting the interior bulbs next 👍
@@tauntonlad I have the lot. I am still yet to fit the high beams. Just changed out my indicator LEDs to the chrome bulbs as the LEDs were extremely bright.
@@fordyford cool, I did look at the indicator and brake bulbs but looking on videos I thought they looked to bright did you get the Halogen Chromatic Indicator bulbs ?
Brake/rear lights are fine, not too bright. Yes the Chrome bulbs from Autobeam I have now.
Footwell x2 centre light x3 back seating light x1 did you have to buy an extra bulb for the luggage area as they only come as a 6 in the upgrade kit? Cheers

What do you mean?
I think he was asking whether changing the bulbs causes any errors to pop up. Interior lights are not monitored at all, so you won't have any issues.
I have changed all light now except the high beams and not had any errors ocurr. All lights be it interior, low beam, fog light, rear/brake, indicatoes, reverse and number plate light all work fine with no issue.

All are from Autobeam in the UK and plug in the same as the originals 👍. Direct replacement.
What's the voltage and wattage of the standard glovebox and foot well bulbs?
Well its a modern car so they run on the 12v circuit. No info on "wattage" but as you can ser they are bright.
Just got mine unfortunately sent wrong ones no way of phoning them to get right ones

@@Ryan-pn7tn that's not like Autobeam. I have always received a reply within a few days on their Facebook page. I did another vid earlier showing what came in the kit (minus indicators and fog lights). Take a look to see if it's the same or not. Keep in mind they may have changed/upgraded some bulbs since my video.

The interior kit for sale now contains an LED 239 bulb which is meant for the centre dome light. However my '13 ST and, by the looks of it, your car doesn't use this bulb and instead has a regular LED 501 interior bulb. Just note the difference.
Also the kit now only comes with 7 bulbs... so both dome lights, foot wells and glove box or boot light. You'll be one short of the full 8 required for the interior.
Not great advertising from AutoBeam and shows a lack of understanding for each specific model of car
I purchased the kit back in April 2019 and this video was published in June 2019. If they have changed their kit since some of this wouldn't be relevant. There was a single tube style interior bulb that I did get in the kit that wasn't used in my car but is for others so maybe they accommodate for it by supplying all possible bulbs.
I show all the bulbs I got in the kit here and explained bulb wasn't needed for my car.
