The insane thing about Perona that she can rest any blocker that will come out from life. But still you could still lose to any other trigger in this case, super close game.

Kata blundered so hard, last turn instead of 2nd mom he was guaranteed lethal.
Let's say ALL 7 cards for perona were 2k counter, still wasn't enough.
Just t.bolt on rosinante, reject, 7k satori(2 cards gone to guard) , amaru on mom and swing for lethal with 15k.

I don't think it was that much of a blunder. Like you saw, he had to hit every life to win. If there was just 1 sanji in there, or a capone, or a 2.000.000 volt or enough counter to withstand 1 attack, then he would have held out and then it was a definite win next turn with 2 big moms swinging and the rest at your disposal also.

Ow damn, I didn't see that katakuri had Reject in his hand. Then it might be a misplay of katakuri.

sanji/brulee would have just been rested with leader ability. Had to be bolt or capone. But yeah kata misplayed by not using reject.@@somegotsson

Kata last turn: Card cost 4 to hit last life, thunder cost 2 to kill blocker, hit 5k satori and finish 16k mom

I'm almost positive that reject to force the last life to hand plus thunder bolt and Amaru on linlin would win the game for Kata

I’m not too sure. They have 8k counter in hand, & you only have 2 swimgs because doffy freeze. W/ amaru + bolt, you have 6 don left. 9k total counter when you take last life. Just dump the hand on Satori swing.

​@@atrocioustcg they def dont have enough counter to counter a 17k swing with mom + a 5k swing with satori after reject bolt and amaru. assuming perona got the 0 cost event with the last life, that puts her to 16k only.

In his last turn, instead of going big mom the katakuri player should have gone thunder bolt the rosinante and use the other 8 don to make 2 attacks of 13k (thanks to amaru) closing the game

I mean, the hand of katakuri doesn't have any relevant counter and even a blocker from the lifes could have been rested by Perona. Considering also that Perona has 0 lifes it's clear that he will try to win next turn and has relevant attacks to do so, therefore I think that your best bet is to try to close the game in that moment

Katakuri knows about the sabo +1k in the last life, so 13k into 13k means that he has to reach +8k with his actual 6 cards in hand (pretty hard I think) and then +9k with the last +1k Sabo to become 14k
