The last turn of the saka was totally off unfortunately, he could have cleared the board and not attack the last life. Maybe he would have lost anyway, but here he gave the win to his opponent
I think he felt he was really in a “I have to win now or else” position, which happens

tbh since we've casted some of his games I was lowkey rooting for him, as much as I don't like yellow LOL

I mean, Katakuri is pretty much 75/25 in this matchup, so Sakazuki was by far the underdog here...
So you don’t need to use don in order to counter?
Not always! If a character card in your hand has a little counter marker on the left side, you can discard it for extra power based on the number listed in that section :)
It costs no don to do, just trash that card!

just misstake saka did hitting him to 1 life so he can use amaru and also got perospero from trigger
Well if he left at 2 life he could have big mom and go to 3 and it gets harder to ko, but yes this would habe been better
Leaving Kata at 2 doesnt do anything, reject drops you down to 1 so you can amaru again
