Could you possibly try it out in your free time or even on camera? It's my first proper level and I don't think it's actually that hard if you get the timing right. At the beginning of the level you gotta run back and then forward fast to get the best timing. Anyway, thanks for your time. Keep up the good work.

The hardest level I've ever played was Rollercoaster of Death 3 by a player named Marc from Germany. the level had 1.78% clear rate in Super Mario Maker 1.
Checkpoints don't make you big anymore unless you drag a super mushroom into them. Also, didn't he cheese part of that level? Probably skipped a power up.
It's a good way of requiring a power-up, especially if you use several different power-ups throughout the level, or as said above no checkpoint. It's also semi-effective anti-cheese as you can't damage boost through things if the clear condition is take no damage. :)
I'm the same man! Spring jumps and shell jumps looked so much easier than they really are! With practice, I can do them, but at a really low success rate.
16:05 I think the “other stuff” is for you to take damage and have Yoshi, with pow in mouth, to go through that little hole and you hit the on/off block so they get through.

I want more endless expert tbh because its something we didn't have in SMM 1,essentially infinite stages.You said it yourself there aren't so many hot garbage stages in expert so it would let good stages have a spotlight.It would be super fun to have it going for a year or so and to get to 100+ stages!Those are my thoughts,all I hope is we get more of those videos..

personally i like it when dev let you know what to do to beat the level, and i would rather people complete my level no matter how hard or complicated it is, the best levels i seen are not the hardest at all but they are very fun to do which is what it boils down to

Fun fact in smw you can actually die from the timer after collecting the goal tape, happened to me once and I raged (the tape disappears and you see the little poof, but then "time's up!"
