This teak wooden monastery in Mandalay Myanmar might be the most beautiful building I have ever visited. The entire exterior of the building was COVERED in carvings depicting Buddhist stories. The interior of the building was gilded like nothing I have ever seen!
Fascinating visit to some culturally significant places in an exotic land. Definitely some very unique looking buildings and locations, the carvings are nothing short of spectacular. So glad you posted this even if it is over a year old, makes no difference to the quality on display.

Taking pain meds for shoulder and nerve damage and bruised ribs will take 2-3 months to recover. The Son still won't say sorry to me. I gave the father a weed wacker as an early birthday. That is what a good neighbor I am. Have a good day and stay out of the way of cars. Ha! Ha! Stay safe. Cheers.!

Everything looks pretty cool in Mal... Myanmar. Really like the carvings in the temples. Having tickets that give you access for a week is awesome!
Mal...Myanmar is definitely one of my favourite countries now! Side note: Malaysia was pretty awesome too!
