Thank you for your simple steps! You make it look so easy and seemless. It was a little harder for me to make the back lay back with all of the caked on chocolates and crayons 🤣😂
Tip: do this at your local car wash so you can power vac the nastiness that falls out. I wanted to report myself to child services for letting my child ride around in such filth. (Imagine a 2 year old dried batter of mashed pretzels and cheerios mixed with the car sick barf that I missed during cleanup.)
Thank you!!! After two of us pulling and pushing random buttons i thought maybe i was wrong and its not a booster option. Cant find the booklet lol. But i can swear i remember the big bulky headrest being optional and i put it on because i didnt know where else to store it
The highway patrol officer that helped me actually cut off the straps when we were fitting 5 cars eats and switching things around he converted it to a highball booster for her this way. Ours does NOT have the storage in the back for the 5-point harness chest clip.
I have an 8 and 9 year old... both within the weight and height restrictions to discontinued the use of the harness. Which should i transition to...Booster with Back or Booster without Back. If it's all about preference( I don't know why there is a preference, it's one safer over the other?) I guess we would prefer the Booster without Back as it's easier to remove the Booster seat section as opposed to the entire car seat with Back. Any tips and advice welcome please.
@@plutosforest @Mike Oconnell, The booster is just that: a booster. The point behind the LATCH system is it held the entire carseat securely to the car, because the Nautilus has it's own straps. Once those straps are eliminated, so is the need for the LATCH system. The car's seatbelt should work just fine, and the booster simply positions the child more optimally for the shoulder belt. Hope this helps!
@@FlatEarthMath thanks. I got it somewhat secure by using a double ended latch (came with the seat) and putting it through the back (the red parts at the base). If you get it tight enough it does hold the seat place. However, it is good to know the weight of the child + seatbelt is all you need.
What this doesn't show you is the 5 lbs of goldfish and other snacks that fall out the moment you take the back off.... 🤣
My thoughts exactly!
Lmao! Yes it was disgusting.
Just happened! ALLLL over my carpet! 😂
It’s so funny to me because I’m literally doing this now and there’s a bunch of goldfish and french fries flying out of the seat
This is so accurate 🤣
So glad these videos exist! Back in the day without internet would have been impossible!

I think they should have the safety clips that go to the seat.. The bottom is so slippery it goes all over on turns

What about removing the straps and the buckle?
God bless you ma'am!! This helped me out tremendously.
How do you attach the belt positioning clip?
What do you do with the strap on the bottom once you have converted to booster?

How do I latch the booster only to the car hooks? The latch is still on the back support
I'm trying to figure out the same thing
@@oconnell123 did you figure it out?

@@plutosforest That's a great idea! Thanks for the tip. :-)
This was so helpful, ty!
Thank you for this detailed tutorial! I just threw away the instructions for BOTH of mine last week! I thought I would remember the instructions lol
Thanks for the video. Made it so easy
tq
it worked! thank you!
Thank
Just get it!
Thanks!
WOW
Are armrests removable?
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dang it was that easy.
Hi! So no isofix in this model in backless mode?
Amp k
This is probably the worst 3 in 1carseat !! Do not get this because this is definitely not safe when it goes to a booster seat
It depends It depends on your child and your vehicle but if you wait until they are 40 lbs and at least 43 inches tall, then its completely fine
Why do you say that
I just unlatched ours and 2 year old tater tots fell out 🤢
Haha! We found some old popcorn
we found our other kid!
Useless video. It doesn't show how to install it in a car.
You just buckle them in normally.
Search "graco nautilus 65 car installation" idk if that would help pull up anything more specific
