Nice timing on the release of your vid! Very enjoyable to watch. Had no idea who he was before Saturday's game vs Australia... Now I certainly do! Seems that those 2 tries were no flukes. I'd imagine the Australian players/ fans probably knew more about Jones than their Scottish counterparts haha, from playing vs/ spectating in the league. It's early but seems like he may be an even better version of Bennett (and I rate him very highly.) and to think, 5 or so years ago we had Graeme Morrison and Sean Lamont starting as our centres... How times change!
Hopefully can apply this great work to the National squad. He has what Scotland needs and has great players around him! Could cause a lot of headaches for other teams.
His parent's ancestry is Scottish and Welsh + he was born in Scotland. Moved to England from Scotland when he was 3. Moved to South Africa when he was 18. So it's hard to tell what he is really. I like to think Celtic genetics + South African refinement. He missed out on all England age-group teams because they said he was too small. He's 6ft 1 and 96kg now which is much bigger than Jonathan Joseph. Only have themselves to blame for their stupid selection policies. The South Africans definitely put him on that farmer bulk! haha
For the first time in the professional rugby era, the Scottish have some considerable strength and depth to their back line options. This kid should keep Dunbar, Bennett and Taylor on their toes.
Marlos Craigan Yeah of course you guys are playing with 2 South African born players 2 Kiwi born, 8 Englishman a Kiwi coach, plus Huw Jones have been developed down south. Meanwhile we have more than 200 professional rugby players abroad and national policy says we play mostly local talent. The same goes for the Aussie's and Kiwi's in a lesser extent. How many Southern Hemisphere coaches and players are there up north? How many world cups have you won? B&I Lions record? If the Northern Hemisphere can keep this up for the next 2 decades, we'll be on equal playing fields. But in the meantime with all respect just fucking shut up mate.
Franko I think no one wants to see the meat eaters in this state. You've got a monstrous pack but your backline is shit tier. I just hope the rumours about the southern kings head coaching taking over isn't true.....
Just coz am a gangsta and a playa don't mean a don't get hurt with da racism. Anyway, keeps doin ya ting peeps... love to all homies here or six feet unda bruh!
Danjobeth Montilla He is a better distributer than strike runner or finisher so he should remain at 12. He's communication on defensive is also a big plus that really goes unnoticed.
This video should be compulsory viewing for all those English scumbag armchair pundits who had the nerve to make insinuations about Nigel Owens's refereeing being (at least partly) responsible for Scotland winning last weekend. Rugby is a team game and never down to individuals, and Scotland's back row unit in particular must take the majority of credit for so successfully dominating the breakdown and providing the backs with quick ball to work their magic. However, if you're looking at individual contributions, the brilliant performance of Huw Jones was largely responsible for the win. And this video is a brilliant showcase of his skill set. His reading of defensive patterns and ability to identify gaps in defence; the acceleration to hit those gaps - I really like his body position as he sets off on a burst; not the most subtle sidestep(!) but bloody hell it's effective; and good hands too. I admire players who have the guts and wherewithal to go and seek experience and education overseas. Martin Johnson did it (NZ), James Haskell returned a far better player after his stints in France, Japan and most significantly New Zealand. It really seems to have helped springboard Huw Jones's rugby education and career. Good luck to the bloke, could be a massive star I reckon. Just don't bloody do it against England again!
I mean, I probably wouldn't go as far as your more general "English scum" comment, being English myself, but some of our fans are a fucking embarrassment.
You're 5 years behind the times pal. We have better depth at centre than Wales for instance. Alex Dunbar, Mark Bennett, Matt Scott and Duncan Taylor are all international quality.
Bennett is as fast as a winger and has better feet than pretty much all of the centres in the northern hemisphere. If he actually had form he would be a Lions contender. You don't know what you're talking about.
Hahahaha, you have no Idea what your talking about. Dunbar is the best 12 in the British isles, he has pace, power, skill and footwork. Bennett is pure class and Taylor is also top quality.
I uploaded this before his first start for Scotland against Australia. Will do a Huw Jones Scotland Highlights video in the future which will include that of course :) Thanks for watching!
Born in Edinburgh! Av got a Welsh born in glasgow though. Ma da is Welsh so that's how av got a Welsh name. Maybe his mum n da just like the name huw?! Anyway, absolutely great player... One of te best in the world... Make no mistake about it.
Olly Humphreys hahah missed most tackles in six nations and has lost 3 on the trot extremely overrated player pretty average with a little bit of luck on the other hand huw jones is 1 of the best in the world and his try scoring record is incredible considering hes a centre and compared to stockdale with his lot of trys jones has practically ran the hole pitch with alot of his trys and created all of them himself
The backs of Scotland right are som of the best in the world and have the potential to be the best
Didn't realise how well he'd done in SA. He's a Lions contender for sure
seen it vs England, he isn't scared to back himself 2 vs 1 just goes for it

Huw Jones is special player man, strong runner with the ball, very elusive, has a great turn of pace and is no stranger to the try-line.
Another great video, I'd heard he's been playing well, very encouraging to watch this, great handling, fend and finishing, plus some handy pace!
Dude is insane.
Any AR Rugby upload is a good day! Great work, can't wait to see him get more time for Scotland.
Jake Harley that's gangsta bruh! Goodman. Keep doin yer ting bruh!
Hopefully can apply this great work to the National squad. He has what Scotland needs and has great players around him! Could cause a lot of headaches for other teams.
Great 2 tries from him against Australia. Fantastic work!
@@tiger1992frv Great player!
He's a Scottish rugby legend
his balance is something else. remarkable.
Dear Scotland, you're welcome.
Sincerely
South Africa
he's not south african, he's english but was born in edinburgh

im south african and he coached our A team in grade 7, this was 2014
Dude's name is 'Huw Jones,' there must be Welsh in there with a name like that!
Lunga Biyela
Dear Bokkes,
He's Scottish, born in Scotland, made in Scotland.
For the first time in the professional rugby era, the Scottish have some considerable strength and depth to their back line options. This kid should keep Dunbar, Bennett and Taylor on their toes.
07015678 Jones and Dunbar could possibly be one of the best centre combinations
He had a great game yesterday! Could be a bolter for the Lions tour!
Go Huw Jones, Huw Jones number 1!
Richmond Cycles Praha one of the best bruh. Keep doin ya ting bruh! Gangsta!
Praha cycles only beaten by the strength of Huw Jones! 😎
A University of Cape Town and Western Province product. Nice!
2:38 - 2:42 that step tho
this seals the deal - ill be making plenty scotland 'underdog' bets during the six nations
Ats gangsta Bro! Ya'll know thus shit too be true bruh
Ryan Bonner did you put the England match on
It appears tackling is optional in Super Rugby
It appears winning is optional up North.

Count your blessings! At least the cocky Aussies have a record to back them up.
Franko Send Scotland a decent flanker? They've got arguably the best flankers in the world right now in Barclay and Watson.
Franko I think no one wants to see the meat eaters in this state. You've got a monstrous pack but your backline is shit tier. I just hope the rumours about the southern kings head coaching taking over isn't true.....
Scottish O'driscoll
i hope he finds his devastating form again
5:17 in before anyone could tackle him. :-)
Sadly never was the same again after his injurys 😔
The best centre
Cannot wait!
Can’t wait for his Glasgow career
Brilliant Video
In scoring some of these tries, he seems to beat almost half of the opposition team when he has ball in hand heading to the tryline!
Just coz am a gangsta and a playa don't mean a don't get hurt with da racism. Anyway, keeps doin ya ting peeps... love to all homies here or six feet unda bruh!
12,13, or 14? i think he should stay on the wing and 13. has a good pace.
Danjobeth Montilla He is a better distributer than strike runner or finisher so he should remain at 12. He's communication on defensive is also a big plus that really goes unnoticed.
Peeps keep doin ya ting!

The wonder wizkid huw jones
What is the name of the first song?
Finally Scotland might have a decent centre
You're 5 years behind the times pal. We have better depth at centre than Wales for instance. Alex Dunbar, Mark Bennett, Matt Scott and Duncan Taylor are all international quality.
+AR Rugby all lack speed, strength and deadly feet. They're all average at best, none of them lions contenders at all.
Good time now bruh! Keep doin ya ting bruh. It's all gangsta bruh! All da best
If only u saw his australlia performance
I uploaded this before his first start for Scotland against Australia. Will do a Huw Jones Scotland Highlights video in the future which will include that of course :) Thanks for watching!
Huw Jones is Welsh name?!
Cheese Eater Damian McKenzie and Richie McCaw are Scottish names, no?
Born in Edinburgh! Av got a Welsh born in glasgow though. Ma da is Welsh so that's how av got a Welsh name. Maybe his mum n da just like the name huw?! Anyway, absolutely great player... One of te best in the world... Make no mistake about it.
Wallace is a scots name ... means from wales. Small island.
Farrell is better
They don't play in the same position...? Genuinely confused by that comment.
