Well, the jean fabric became a stylish norm over time, but it was originally designed to be resistant for manual workers who couldn't afford to buy new pants every other month. @@mandyheart8754 wow! you're an incredibly negative and mean person for absolutely no reason! I was just trying to share some knowledge that I have. Japanese Selvage Denim is a specific weave that uses a special machine to make. It is produced by many brands, and it is more expensive to make. It's not Japanese Cotton. You can read up on it. It's a relatively newer technique, which is why more historic brands like Levis don't use it for their classic Jeans. Rag and Bone offers a variety of denim fabrics because different people have different preferences. Levis does this as well. Stretch Denim is a different fabric. I told you that I have no idea about their jeggings fabric. I was sharing knowledge about one specific fabric. Your assumption that I buy Gucci T Shirts and hate on people for buying cheap clothes is very bizarre. I never said that. I mentioned one piece of information about one type of fabric. You actually inspired me to do some additional research. Rag and Bone actually has specialty American denim with a vertically integrated supply chain so they can ensure quality in every step. They also have a program for free lifetime repairs. That's pretty interesting to me. If you like your Levis jeans, keep wearing them. If you only want to wear jeans from Walmart or another more affordable retailer, you can 100% do that. I'm not here to judge you. Literally every brand increases their sale price from their manufacturing cost. All products have margins. Yeah $250 is a lot for jeans. It's probably too much for the majority of people. The original commenter asked why they cost so much. I said that I had no information about this specific pair of jeans, but I shared one thing I do know about the brand. Levis 501 jeans are over $100 full price. That is still very expensive. They are a classic style. They probably are able to keep their margins very low because of the amount they produce. I don't know everything about Rag and Bone manufacturing and I never claimed to. There are other manufacturers that make Japanese Demin at a wide range of costs, but it is a more expensive fabric to produce due to the fact that it uses specialty machinery to make. I don't know exactly how much it costs to produce, and, like I said, not all of their jeans are made of the same material because not everyone likes the fabric. This jegging material may fall apart in 2 washes. I don't know. But they also offer free repairs if you notice that. I'm guessing that warranty also factors into the higher upfront cost. Vertically integrating their supply chain, having a lifetime warranty, and investing in expensive machinery are going to increase overall costs for the brand. I'm no expert in their specific supply or margins, but I was just trying to genuinely answer this person's question by providing some information. I'm not sure why you unleashed that unhinged negativity at me, but I really hope all is well and you have a good day.
I love jeans so much, they’re my choice of pants when just sitting at home and I vastly prefer them over sweatpants, everyone I know thinks I’m crazy…and I definitely have worn them on a plane before
I love this culture where people are just being themselves and it's amazing
I remember the old infomercials for Pajama Jeans in the early 00s. These look much better quality!
Why are all of Maddie’s pyjamas more stylish than any of my clothes?
fr tho ,her pyjamas are always so cute (i'd like wear them but im "always cold" and wear "winter" pyjamas almost all year round 😅💀🖐️)
@@ka1848 yes! I wear winter pyjamas year round too!

I mean they still exist, screw trends lol comfort is superior
Jeggings never went anywhere if you go to primark 😅
@@Imogenbrownart well tbh i didn't even notice jeans were uncomfy until my sister pointed out to me 💀 for me, i just think jeggings look superior (except when the pockets are not real 😭)
@@shivanshi5685 fair enough and yeah the not real pockets are so ???? 😭
All the death note fans know she just called L a "little gremlin rat"
Where’s the lie tho 😂
I love these kinds of pants. So comfortable and yet fashionable 👍🏼
Only downside is there usually aren’t any pockets but than again there rarely ever are…..
I had jeggings when i was little. Life changer.
Jeggings were my middle school life.
BRO I NEED YOUR SENCE OF FASHION!
The half jean half legging pants I used to get at New York and Company when I was a teenager were also fire
The moment you wore that black top you gave out "Wednesday" vibes for 2 secs
I’m way to early. Somethings up.
Personally I feel more comfortable in jeans than leggings. I just don’t feel like I’m dressed In leggings unless I’m running or doing sports
Edit: thank you for the likes 💕
I literally love your dog too!
I’ve got a pair in blue and they are so comfortable. Glad they work well for you too. 👌⭐️🌞

I refuse to ever give up my jeggings. As someone who essentially exists in pjs as much as possible, they are the only thing I will wear outside of the house!
Those are cute!!

“Can even sit like a little GrEmLiN RaT “ que me and my emotionally unstable self breaking down with laughter 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
yeah so, PJ jeans. I use an old pair i got from urban outfitters. their baggy not overly thick but enough to be comfortable in winter. they have an elasticated ajustable waist band too. plus they cost me a bout £30.
Yeah, I loved my pajama jeans! I had the originals. You can definitely get a pair a lot cheaper than that!
😅 this threw me back to the late night infomercial pajama jeans 😂
We finally came full circle and just reinvented jeggings. Good stuff.
I have soooo many of those and the funny thing is wearing pjs to school is dress code 😂

Jeggings are really good ❤
These where my childhood and I can tell you for sure they where like 5 dollars when I used to get them😭
As someone who has always hated the texture and stiffness of jeans, I need theys.
I got catapulted back into the old AS SEEN ON TV commercials the second I heard "pajama jeans"
Pajama jeans are the granny panties that we hate but love
