Honestly I can’t stop watching this edit, this is one of my absolute favourite Governor/ walking dead edits. It’s just so good and encapsulates the Governors character so well. 10/10
I still say the governor is the best villain in the walking dead series I would have loved to see negan face against him and the governor had the tank you can’t tell me negan wouldn’t be scared
Negan would want him to work for him but I think he might play the nice angle with the governor seeing how powerful his community is so Negan most likely wouldn't start an war with them and more so act as friends with him I think. But Phillip would have none of it since playing the political game would just fall right into his game and would back stab Negan eventually

A great man who created a functioning society and a beautiful city, a city where people were truly happy, although the price was too high. He was never afraid of anything or anyone, and in many ways he was right. He lost a lot, gained a lot, but made the wrong choice, becoming TWD's most iconic villain. I have come to the realization that when comes to comic accuracy in looks jdm should have played the governor and jon hamm should have been negan. But the actors who portray their characters are awesome
I never understood why he killed them, trained soldiers with nowhere to go would have most likely joined the Governor's side, especially since he saved their comrade. If not his mercy, then them first hand witnessing Woodbury's security and prosperity would definitely sway them to settle in, especially after what they went through. These guys aren't just trained soldiers either, they most likely know other useful skills like maintaining and fixing vehicles, guns, infrastructure, etc. Skills which they would teach other people. Great logistics mean success and more manpower means inevitable territorial expansion, the prison wouldn't matter at that point.

@@GxsTributes Majorly down hill, Morgan with his fake martial arts, the garbage lady making Rick fight a garbage pale monster, now storm troopers? It all happened after he was killed off. Losing him and Shane ruined the show.
The series fully died when carl was written off the show because they didn't want to pay chandler riggs an adult salary. They got too greedy, IMO the show should've just ended with negan dying.

Andrea could have killed him. She had multiple chances.. all of the deaths that Andrea caused was sooo annoying lol.Another great edit though!

Baby Negan isn't even close to being the best antagonist, the Governor is the best

you're right, they look a lot like the ones in the comics. But on the show they are great actors too.
Thing is though, comic book Governor is very different to tv show Governor, they are two different characters with different traits and behaviour.

The govener was way better then Negan, like the show ended when they killed him off in my opinion.
