I wonder why is no-one in all the reviews I see with the Flock Patchbay,, at least mentions that if for some reason Flock Audio gets broke and they don´t update the software anymore with next update of your operating system you might can throw 3000,. Euro into the trashcan. Don´t get me wrong I love this system and I really thinking about getting one but this the main reason I still hesitate....
I expect that to be a non-issue, as the team over at Flock is very dedicated and on fire right now with their products. I feel very confident they will continue developing and supporting any future software updates. Hope that helps you, as this system is absolutely next-level.
@@thismixissick The Flock Patch is well priced. It's the Patch VT with double the ins and outs, but 3 times price, that Sound stange to me. I am planning to buy a Flock. I already have equipment for 32 ins, so I will have to buy the Patch VT, because I will grow my equipment arsenal. That's over 10'000 with the DB25 cables.
If you research this online you may find it looks like it may be some caveats when attempting to run mic level signals as opposed to line level signals which is the use case here.
I've own 3 of them for years now and theres absolutely no noise issues. it's likely because they are running mic levels through line level and don't know the difference between the 2 signal types. Thats what flocks cx is for, it boosts the mic level to line level.
@@bennettadriano2954 glad to hear this because I am soon to be buying one myself and love the idea of my studio being controlled via iPad and a mouse click.
Bram is back! Awesome.
Game changer for hybrid guys and old guys with analogue roots.
That’s for sure!

I will definitely buy one. But, there has to be some competition from other brands, because to me they seem a little bit to expensive.
You’ll be very happy with it!

I’ve read so many people have noise issues because of the flock audio patch bay.

There are no noise issues when using analog gear. I didn’t test it with mic signals, since I’m not using it for that.
