I love the banter between Chris and Jody at the end! My gift to someone that was sort of a gift to myself was a pair of custom Jordan 1 lows for my dad. He turns 73 in 12 days and has never worn Jordans, but would always comment on how cool my various pairs looked. Since he's a big golf fan, I got him a pair of AJ1 lows customized to have the Masters logo on them last Christmas. I just wanted to share in my obsession with my dad. He hardly ever wears them since he doesn't want to mess up the paint, but I hope he enjoys them as much as I enjoyed ordering them for him.
Feels good to see the love the foams are getting here lately and feels even better to be able to cop them easily. Glad the younger ppl are stuck on the runner trend for now

These Coppers take me back, waaaay back, back into time…. to when there were two of em. One copper with the translucent sole and the Gold black sole edition which were nice but they didn’t have that “zing” if ygwim . Dope review and backstory to this classic silhouette 👑✅

Coppers are a CLASSIC .. Also im a sole premise customer & those bags are CLUTCH & although a bit clunky its straps are comfortable and the bag is light & durable.

Growing up in DC seeing the OG’s rockin the Coppers especially in the summer, not just these but foams in general…it’s like a status of class you had with these 🔥 I’d hear people say, if you had foams on yo feet you’d bag girls in em especially if you can put it both together w a clean fit. I would call them the “360 sneaks “ because of the waves on em and the Xenomorphs (because of its shape to me).
When this shoe dropped I worked at Nike. The employee store was getting them and at time you had to get a wrist band. We waited from 8am to 3pm that’s when they handed out bands, only 6 of stood online for the shoes and the old manger did not want to hand bands out before 3, so 3 rolls around and they tell us the shoes will not arrive on time but they will get our badge number phone number and email and contact us, it took 2 fu*king weeks for us to get a call lol and purchase the shoes lol anyways that’s my release story. 9:44
I love giving gifts. My philosophy which was passed on to me from my pops was: 'If you are gonna give gift, you care enough about the person to do so, so treat them like how you treat yourself.' Essentially put as much effort or care into the gift as you would want someone to gift you. Also helps being the only sneakerhead in the group so I'm a lot of people's yearly sneaker refresh when I can't think of anything else

QOTD: A trip, for me and my girlfriend. And for me. I’m checking in earlier than usual today from the DMV, and right on time our weather is awful here today: the high is in the 30s with winds over 30mph, and a wind chill under 20. Foamposite Ones would’ve been very comfortable for running errands today (but the new Jordan 3s did well enough). Once broken in, Foam Ones are such a great pair to play in, as long as you have extra socks to combat the hotbox effect. Thanks for the review! Double thumbs up for the shoutout for the area (and one more if you know how to pronounce “area” in the area). See you again soon!

QOTD: I wanted a minivelo (a small sized bicycle) and I told my partner I bought it as it fits her so we can ride bikes together. But in the first few months, I was the only one using it more than my full size bike that she questioned me if it was even for her. 😂😂😂 She now enjoys riding it with our dog in the front basket. Lol. Whenever I think of buying a bike that may fit her she always brings up this purchase 😂😂
The bottoms of this pair are not icy translucent like every edition that came before it. That’s a no go for me. I can’t get over that. I’ll keep rocking the 2017 pair

I had gotten another 09 pair to reglue a year ago (demolished my old pair) but the person on ebay labeled them wrong as a 10.5, they popped up & were size 10. Even without the insoles they just crush my feet
