Good day, one major detail that I believe should have been mentioned is that if the incorrect step down transformer is being used (230Vac to 16Vac) that is not supporting the correct current to the system then it will also effect the battery charging from the main Pcb to the battery. I have experience it repeatedly in my years with repairing of burglar alarm systems.
Hi, thanks for a great set of videos. Your IDS and Dahua videos are my go-to source. Can I replace my 7ah battery in the IDs panel with a 18ah battery? It does not fit, But I can wire it externally. Thanks
My light is also, on the IDS x64, flashing but I'm using wireless PIR's that's working through a IDS XWave little box. I've changed a battery on one of the PIR eyes and then the alarm description changed to "RF det Batt Trbl". Initially it indicated which zones battery was giving the problem. How do I get rid of the flashing Pwr light?
Thanks for the informative video. I've replaced my 12V 7AH battery in November 2020 and with all the recent load shedding, the battery is pretty much dead in about an hour. Can you recommend an alternative to the 12V 7AH battery? Something that can handle frequent load shedding?
Hi, i have faulty zone on same type of system and I want to permanently remove/delete the zone from the system and may later re-add same. Kindly if you can advise. Thanks
Thanks you. I didn't even know where the battery is located

@@ecologicaltime thank you

change the zone type to "Disabled". ua-cam.com/video/A-mFytj_rPY/v-deo.html
Choose "0" and it will ignore the zone completely.
My voltage with battery is only 11.xx. With out the battery plugged in its 0.00. Does this mean its not charging?
yes. Connect battery with panel on. If you still get low voltage (less than +-13,4V) then its not charging
So helpful. Thank you.
