i swear people n the internet dont know what the hell they want. for years (damn near a decade) people have been bitching and complaining about the fact that the mcu needs to make their suits look more saturated and more comic accurate, then when they actually do people bitch and complain about it being too silly and bright like wtf make up your damn minds. do you want desaturated suits and sacrifice the characters iconic look for a more realistic tone or do you want bright and stand-out colors whilst sacrificing a bit of realism (btw spider man's costume from homecoming was very bright and saturated and even captain America in the first avengers movie and that still doesn't affect the realism that much
I think the issue people are having is with the tone of the show itself. Them making the red brighter implies that the show will be lighter hearted than the Netflix version. No one I've seen or talked to wants a PG-Disneyfied Daredevil show. If it's just another terrible Disney+ series then I won't be watching it. I'm hoping if Deadpool and Wolverine is successful then they'll cave and let the show be R-Rated.

I think that bullseyes suit that we just saw leaked will be a homemade or early version of the true suit. They’ll probably make it more comic accurate later in the show

Im betting he's gonna be in the pilot where he's gonna attack Karen and Foggy, maybe even killing one of them (which i hope isn't the case but it might be whats happening). Matt might fuck him up so hard he's comatosed for months until he returns close to the finale with a new suit to match Matt's new one.
Nothing can beat the black suit with the ropes on his fists but I do like this suit. Sure it's not as good as the red suit from the Netflix show. I think it blends in as well as the other suits when he's in the darkness.
Netflix´s Daredevil is one of my top 3 shows of all time, but personally... I think this suit already looks a million times better than the Netflix version. I wish it always looked like this, to be completely honest xDxD

I think the suit was a bit TOO dark in the netflix series, and nit red enough. Here it might be a little more red than I expected but It still looks good, I wish it was red on red tho not red on black with the double d on his chest
The daredevil suit is fine, once they do color correction it won't be as red. Also the Bullseye suit isn't completely set. this footage looks like rehearsal work, even Charlie's daredevil suit is stripped down. that's my analysis of this.
Comic book bullseye. Bruh all you have to do is put an imprinted black bullseye emblem on the mask of the daredevil season 3 black and white suit and its bullseye. He even has the gloves already. Give him a necklace as a reference to his neck and bammo. It'd be boring but it's technically the same.
This is honestly a weird take. We accept the other marvel characters to be super saturated, like with everyone celebrating Wolverine's new outfit, but Daredevil can't be too red? It makes sense for him too because at this point of the story, Daredevil has accepted his role as a super hero. So the DD wouldn't be a bad idea either.
My main problem with the new suit is it looks like a cheap Halloween costume with the foam muscle padding it has whereas the red suit from the Netflix show actually looked like a suit that could take a beating and save his life. Especially with the details being layers of kevlar armor plating along with rivets all around. It looked close to the comics whilst still looking believable.
Kinda stupid complaining about the double D’s like no one cares when they put that A across Captain America’s face, it’s just to make it a bit more comic accurate which should be appreciated. It’s not that big of a deal😂🤦♂️ the red isn’t so bad, it may be to cover up the blood he’ll get over him or some shit
If people are complaining about the new Daredevil suit being too silly, I think you need to get out of the superhero genre. Really think about it. My only complaint is that it's so red that it hurts the eyes, if it could be a shade darker it would be nice. Hopefully it looks better on camera, and the D's are required
Movie/TV costumes are often *super* saturated in color because cinema cameras capture a very flat image. These two things give the colorists a ton of room to correct/grade the image in post to their liking. The end result will probably be more subdued than the leaked photos.
I'm confused. Is this basically season 4 but under a different name or is a new thing. I only ask because they kept the old suit design (with brighter red) and brought back Bullseye. He was the cliffhanger of season 3. We also know that the old actors are coming back. If it is a new continuity, they should've completely redesigned the suit. This is basically the same costume but with the comic logo and a brighter red. Ditch the old design altogether and do your own thing. Distance yourself from the previous show and start fresh. Now if it's the same continuity as the Netflix Daredevil, then this design doesn't bother me that much. If they just made the black parts of the suit dark red instead, the costume would look much better. The dark black and the bright red don't look right. The contrast is too jarring. They could also darken the red and keep the black if they want. Is the old show canon or not.
I like the new suit I was hoping they’d make it more skin tight. Simply cause I’ve noticed that Charlie cox and his stunt double tended to move better and look less stiff when they were wearing the black homemade suit. It’s the same for batfleck his suit in bvs enabled for better movement hence why we got such clean looking action and why characters with heavier suits tend to look stiff and odd.
I think it will look darker red when it’s shown on tv cause u gotta remember daredevil is gritty and dark and I’m sure disney has a lot riding this if they really care about the marvel stuff since pretty much everything show was has been a complete bomb . The brighter red looks good but the black boots is high up matt's waist lol it ruins the suit. It should look something similar to combat shoes, not cowboy boots.

Who said bright colours don't work in live action, they have worked with iron man, captain America, thor, spiderman... the entire MCU has bright coloured suits and they work very well with dark themes too so i don't see any problem

I think that’s just the buckles, but I could see it being a subtle nod to the emblem

They’re not thigh high boots, the pants turn black at the knees and the shins are covered with armored plates separate from the boots.
