Excellent video! Can you use your America's Mailbox address for your bank accounts, debit cards, brokerage accounts, existing credit cards, and new credit card applications?
We had it on all our stuff. You need to check on your own for brokerage stuff and new credit. We never did that. Thanks for watching 👍
Can you use that address as a home address that allows you to vote? There's been some discussion on the news about South Dakota trying to deny voter rights to RVers.
Yes we use this as our home address for everything. Our driver's license, vehicle registration, vehicle bank loans on everything. Yes we also vote with this address. I have not heard anything or received anything about not being able to use that address to vote. All I know is we have been using that address to vote when it's voting time. Pennington County sends us ballots to fill out and mail back in. So far so good 👍 . Thanks for watching!
We have used Americas Mailbox in SD for three years now. They have been great,but your license lists you with a PMB# which does not allow you to purchase a weapon. :(
I wonder is American mailbox would forward mail out of the country. I'm not an RVer I'm an expat living in south America the other virtual mailbox boxes services are being flagged by banks threatening to close accounts. Is American mailbox an actual address have you heard it being flagged by banks.
We have that address on our bank with no problem. I have no idea about put of the country stuff. You will have to give then a call and see. Thanks for watching 👍
So now that you are all set up what do you do about banking ? Because of the "PATRIOT Act" Banks require an "actual physical address" and PMB`s are a NO NO
We have had no issues with our bank. We have our americas mailbox pmb address on it and it's fine.
My husband and are from NYS were looking to do the same as your family , can you tell me do you ever come across long term care facilities for high paying contracts?
Highest pay so far at a LTC that we have got is $2800 week. There are good jobs out there just need to be ready to hit the road and go when you find it. Good luck! Thanks for watching 👍
It says you can upgrade prorated anytime, so why not just choose basic package?

How about making SD your Domicile and having voting by remote mail for full time RVers? Does SD still do this or not? If they do what are the restrictions?
Yes they still do this. We recieve our mail in ballots at America's Mailbox and have them sent to us wherever we are at. I Don't know of any restrictions. Everything has worked out great for us so far. Thanks for watching 👍
I'm tired of high rent and overall costs, and amm on SS. I'm seriously considering making SD my domicile state, but traveling in the US full time. A couple of questions though; one...where do we have our mail, including meds sent to? Also, I take blood thinners and am required to have my blood checked every 30 days or so; can I have that done wherever I am? Of course, I can check with my insurance on that one. Thanks.
SD might work out good for you. Americas mailbox can forward your mail anywhere your at. Have to check with Dr on the other things but my wife has her prescriptions sent all over the US no problem. Thanks for watching 👍
@@HappinessTravelz Thank you! I did actually call Humana, who mails my meds to me and they are auto refill(Dr. has to see me for additional refills). But Humana said they would have no issue sending them wherever I needed. Thank you!
For tax purposes, do y'all still qualify for the tax-free stipends that makes travel nursing so lucrative? I'm planning on using my family's home address in Alabama, and I was advised to share expense payments with my family so that, for taxes, it was clear that I had doubled domiciles.
Yes we get stipends at all our contracts. We would only not qualify for them in the rapid city area because that is our "home address " . Every contract we have ever done you get stipends as long as your home address is more than 50 miles away from the job. So we will work anywhere except in the rapid city area. Hope that helps. How do yall duplicate expenses if you live full time in the RV and still travel?
It's probably depends on what your traveling for. We travel for work so we keep track of fuel and if we stay somewhere we keep track of all that and thats about it. If your retired and just traveling not sure how that would work. Maybe someone else will chime in with info? Thanks for watching 👍
