    Any updates on your Yucca plants? Would be nice to see how they look now. Thanks

    The reason your Yucca keeps leaning over is the potting soil is too soft. It's much better to use a well draining heavy sandy rocky soil just like what is found out in the wild where these Yucca originate. With a sand and small gravel rocky soil, the yucca will be held in place and not tip over.

    Looking forward to the update. I want to propogate my yucca elephantipes here in the U.K. I'm hoping it is OK to do this now in February, but apparently they grow roots faster in Spring.
    The lower leaves have drooped and turned brown and all except the newest leaves have become droopy through winter. I keep them indoors because too wet and cold outside.
    I bring them out sometimes during summer. I just hope the leaves will get healthier and stand up again otherwise they won't be good enough to show off!
    I don't water them much at all during winter.
    Thank you for the video!

    I am so glad to see this. i live in NW Florida. My very very old yuccas were quite tall and looking very dead. Unfortunately my garden "helper" cut them down and threw them away! I am left with very old rotten pieces of trunk. Can I do anything to promote growth from these? Meanwhile, I am going to try and propagate and grow some other cuttings but I really would like to try and get the old rotten "stumps" to regrow.

    Well I did it! I finally broke down and cut my yucca cane into two separate canes. Repotted them today and I’m praying everything goes well. Kinda nervous.

    If you propagate a yucca cutting in water to get it to grow roots (so that you can then put the rooted yucca into soil) how often should you refresh/change the water for the yucca cutting?

    Someone in my complex was throwing a tall yucca plant out. Problem is that the most of leaves are not straight, some at the top are but towards the bottom most of them are bending. I decided to take it anyways & try to save it. I bought soil & repot it. QUESTION! Do you think I'm wasting time because its gonna die anyways or is there a chance to save it & the leaves can become straight again? Please help

      New growth leaves will be straight, but old leave wont. They don't easy die, as long as they got some water and sun 😀😍

    Hello. Thank you for your video. So my Yucca is in trouble. I don’t know how to save it. The off shoots have yellow trunks. Something is wrong. I bought a little saw and soil and pots but sacred to cut

    • @Justliketree27Studio
      @Justliketree27Studio Рік тому

      Don’t be afraid to cut it, just cut the wet part of the trunk. It will grow back and become stronger then ever!

    The new soil is too light and will not support the weight of the plant when it gets bigger...

    Hey thanks for this helpful video! I have found a whole yucca tree abandoned alongside the street and I think it has been damaged too... Is there any way of saving it? If I cut the middle part and take the top of the plant to grow it after removing a few leaves, should be fine and rooted??
