Thank you for the art, the creativity and just the all around feeling of joy that you bring. Sarah you are so talented. I have always wanted to make a lavender wand! You have encouraged me to give it a try. Your sachets are so lovely, all these treasures you have sprinkled around the chateau guest rooms and the love notes…how special the recipients will feel. I can imagine the conversations amongst your lovely guests about their finds. The trunks … my goodness how fun! Sarah, Steve needs a Richard the lionhearted costume to go with that sword! Great find!
Good luck on your pattern account! I always enjoy your videos…. Fun to watch you use the lively lavender items. Wish you had enough lavender to sell them! Thanks for continuing the good work!❤
The tickle trunk is SO much fun! Sarah, the lavender wand in the trunk will only enhance the sensory appeal of the items inside. It will smell marvelous ✨️! Thank you both SO much for sharing with those of us in video-land.
Steve and Sarah, you certainly DON’T look as though you are money machines! You are so careful what you purchase at brocantes and your renovations are done economically as possible. You haven’t rushed in and stripped everything back. You involve your local local community. l think the idea of Patreon is a great idea. l will only still be a subscriber and l always click the like button. I love how you listen to peoples ideas.😀
Oh, I wish I was joining this retreat! Really hope I can make it next year! Love your crafts, beautiful! BTW the pommel is the heavy, usually rounded part, at the top of the hilt of the sword that acts as a counterweight!
I thank you guys - what a wonderful preparation work you have done for the retreat :D Every little detail executed wonderfully, I can really sense the romance in the upcoming retreat, and how much fun everyone will have. Nice work, well done, tickle trunk from Mr Dressup is warmly remembered 💕
Sara, your creativity and beautiful projects inspire me to make some sachets and covered hangers! Hopefully I'll find suitable materials this week at Recyclerie Libournaise and Rauzan Antiquites & Brocantes Village. I'll have to hand-sew them, as I don't have a sewing machine while traveling.
When I was a kid my family always complained about my bits of fabric so I made a huge pillow case from patchwork tweed (old coats) and put a strong zipper and fileld it with my scraps. This way I had a sort of bean bag in my room and perfect storage for my treasures !
From the top of your sword you have the pommel that’s joined to the grip or the hilt by the tang then lion heads are on the cross guard which help protect your hand from damage from your opponent’s sword running down the blade. So your ready for foe vanquishing lol
I loved seeing the old sewing machine working away. All the projects were great and I hope maybe you’ll do more of these. I especially liked the padded drawer liner.
Love the sword!! So jealous of your lavender! It doesn’t grow well here in Savannah! I have tried all of the recommended ways to try to get it to grow and no success. I love the lavender wand! They are $20 at the local Lavender store that gets their lavender from France
Thanks Sarah for your lovely lavender projects, dress up trunk. Such fab ideas. You & Kirsten made me laugh with all your impromptu acting, lot's of fun for your visitors next week. Enjoy.... Love viewing your channel.
Fun shopping - great sword, and I’m sure your retreats going into the future. Love the lavender and sewing projects. I didn’t realize that’s how those wands are made. Fun idea with the secret notes. I assume you told your guests not to watch today’s episode. 😉♥️ Love the trunks! I can see you putting more together over time. Luckily, once they’re packed up, they’re easy to store until next time they’re needed.
