  • walk straight down memory lane with this golden oldie. easy to make recipe written below.
    filling
    3 apples peeled cored and sliced
    1/2 cup sultanans
    1/2 tea spoon ground mixed spice
    2 cups self raising flour
    125g butter cubed
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg lightly beaten
    ball cover fridge 10 mins
    pre heat oven 180 degrees C
    lamington tray 18 x 28cm with baking paper
    bake 25 mins til golden brown if not sure leave a little longer pastry is lovely no matter how brown.
    allow to cool in tin completely
    cut and dust icing sugar
    store air tight container or tin at room temp

      Made it this arvo it’s pretty good my bottom pastry didn’t cook real well but still nice I did miss the 10min in fridge bit as I’m a busy person and might of sped through that bit of video while watching and copying hahahaha
