WOW what an amazing box!! their book tins are seriously some of my all time favorite items across all boxes, because monolimeart just absolutely kills it every single time. i'll have to find this one secondhand for sure! the desk mat is also gorgeous -- and that edition! beautiful 😍

Wow, they are finally catching up! Only 2 months late...didn't think that would happen. I think this would have been a so-so box for me. Nothing super exciting. I love when you get items you would've bought yourself though! Hope the mat works out for you. Love the purple on the book and those edges! How cool is it that you got another with a hidden picture. Finally got my OC today. No cheat sheet for it either. Wonder if something happened to this month's? Hope the wisdom teeth removal went well!
I know, I am hoping they will be all they way caught up but even if they are just a month or 2 behind for awhile, I can understand. I'm worried with the dock worker strike that multiple book companies will end up being behind but we will see what happens. And lol, sadly doesn't look like the mat will work out for me but I'm gonna try it again this weekend, sometimes I'm just weird about something being different. And right?! The purple is gorgeous and I'm loving getting the hidden picture on the edges, I know want it on all my books! 😆 Yay for OC but yeah, they haven't said anything about it as far as I can tell. Like if they want to go paperless that is fine but could you communicate this? Thank you! It wasn't as awful as I anticipated (my 3rd one I felt as the anesthetic wore off but that didn't happen this time thankfully). However the tooth did try to kill me on its way out by flying into my throat when it finally popped out, even scared the shit out of my dentist 😅 Thankfully I was able to use my tongue to prevent it from actually choking me but I swear life has it out for me right now 😂
@@nikkilovesbooks I'm disappointed in how Owlcrate handled it. They just tried to sweep it under the rug. At least be open about it! Put it somewhere pinned or on their website, (which since the redesign has been hard to navigate at times). Yikes! Not death by tooth! That would be a very interesting obit! lol! Glad you stopped it!
I was very excited to get my final bookish box because i love the foredge design. It was hard to see when looking at yours. If yours was blurry or spatially displaced. On mine, It was like the each page was a little off, so it was very jagged And not a very clean picture on the foredge. I just wanted to know if that was only me or if it was everybody's.
A lot of book companies are behind mostly due to delays and errors from printing companies in China. There are also delays in travel time for the ships because of weather. On top of that apparently there are a lot of issues once the ship gets to the US. One international book company had a warehouse here in the States to allow less cost for shipping for US consumers, the company had never experienced delays until having a warehouse in the States. That company felt that customs and everything were so difficult to deal with in the US that they actually closed down that warehouse just within a few months of opening it.
