- Jake Hatch of "Black Sheep Skid" shows how he hauls his Bobcat skid steer loader around with any ramps to get on/off his truck. Jake is an expert skid steer operator, and he makes his living using his Bobcat loader on constructions sites or wherever he's hired. Check out his channel at "Black Sheep Skid".
I love watching people who know what the **ck they are doing. Talent/skill.
I agree, he does seem to know what the heck he is doing.
That skill and talent comes with a 60 thousand price tag lmao
What the hell do ducks have to do with this?
Sometimes (lots) wing it.
I've been around. I can hack it.
Now this is the proper time for me to say he’s gots skills to pay the bills! Those machines look like a blast!
LOL, literally yes. This is how he makes his living. And he enjoys it.
Those are some serious skills. I’ve worked a BobCat but I couldn’t conceive of doing this.
I’m the same
that was pretty dam smooth and quick , nice job .
Yes, he makes it look almost graceful.
Now that's not just skill but real talent and experience.. He must feel the machine as an extension of his arms.
Yessir, he's an owner operator and this is all he does, skid-steer work.
Forget the arms. That's an extension of his peepee
Now THAT is an operator.
Yessir!
Hello, Mr George? You know the new guy you just hired, give him a raise. He's worth every cent.
Exactly.
That was badass. The way he balanced he balanced it on the front wheels then backed it up to the bed of the truck shows some sick skills. 🤯
Yes it does
This guy deserves the gold medal.👏👏👏👏👏
I agree. He's second to none.
Most skilled with a bobcat I definitely seen
I would venture, that most have seen.
That is some serious knowledge of how that machine reacts to your input love seeing it
Yes, crazy amounts of experience.
It's great when a video is about what the title says it is about.
Right?
If nothing else it’s a testament to Kubota’s oil sump pickup technology.
That it is
I truly don't understand how these guys can balance a machine like that, the weight of the machine shifts along with the operator's body shifting while holding levers and pedals, incredible.
One thing that plays a key role is mechanical controls. He said it can't be done with electrical controls.
@@SouthwestORV ah, analog inputs, like an extension of your hand. Incredible.
I’ve never seen anyone do it with modern stick controls, the old UI with the two sticks and floor pedals for the hydraulics are the only machines that can do this without having a bucket completely loaded with dirt. Hell all the new shit has electronics that turn the engine off at certain angles.
Mind blown! This guy is a Boss! Equivalent of driving a 8,000lb unicycle whilst juggling. Many simultaneous actions seamlessly and smoothly. Bravo!
I agree.
This man needs a raise
He'll have to give it to himself. He is an owner operator. Thanks for watching!
these things are as close to mechs as we got
Mechs? I don't follow.
Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it, well done.
He's a magician on this machine.
You can tell this guy could push a dime across a concrete bridge with that bucket ... he’s that good!
Yes, he could. He gets paid to entertain in his skid steer.
I bet the rate of Bobcat accidents jumps significantly after this video.
Possible, although most won’t have the nerve to try.
That's a good load for a pick up truck. Well done
On a regular work day he may do this 1-4 times.
My brother has a landscaping business I run his bobcat once in awhile but I can't do any of that this guy is good.
Yes, he's amazing.
I learned to get pretty smooth running at the time a Gehl skidloader cleaning out a cement lagoon on a dairy farm. To start cleaning we started on the ramp down to the bottom which was just wide enough for the spreader that was over 6 feet high and the skidloader. The first few loads were pretty much shitty water that we scooped into the spreader. If you were jerky with either stick you were wearing it. With that I will say my hat is off to the operator of that machine and I'd like to buy him a beer.
I'm sure he'd accept it! His name is Jake Hatch with Black Sheep Skid, he has performed at monster truck shows in his skid steer.
Wow!! What an operator. Bravo !!
Thanks!
Not only impressive loading stellar payload as well
Agreed, impressive truck
Wow. Wish I had those skills.
It’s a very marketable skill.
Man made this look so much easier than it actually is😂
So true.
Awesome work 🤝💖
Thanks! I agree, he is awesome.
That was so sick!!!
I agree!
Why aren't 4 in 1 buckets popular in USA? It's all we use in Australia.
I don't know!
Home boy ain’t playin
No, home boy about to go make some money.
I feel sorry for others, us people trying that for the 1st time but forgetting out back lights, tail lights cross bars, braces - basically messing it all up and smashing stuff because we didn't think it through. Nice going load master.
Yessir, he's pretty awesome.
That's nuts. I'm just learning how to use some Grapples. Lol
Yep, crazy how I get in one and it's all jerky and I look like a fool. He dances with it.
I’ve seen this done with an excavator on Mythbusters: it’s possible, but VERY hard to do.
Unless you do it 3 times per day, then it’s run of the mill.
Good driving
Great driving!
That skills right there 👏👏👏
Amen. He does have incredible skills for sure.
Good work
He certainly does good work.
As impressive as that was, what about the ole ford not even squatting the thickness of a sheet of paper when there's a skid steer on the bed!
Agreed. Shout out to the Ford F450. Or maybe it was a 550. Don't recall.
Man dam I couldn't believe my dam eyes that guy is bad to the bone he's good best I ever heard of he got dam lart of nerve
Yes, I agree, a lot of skill and nerve.
We got a bobcat , but always wondered what happens to the oil pressure when you do this ? Engine oil pressure I meant to say
Whatever happens, it can't be too detrimental. This guy constantly runs his skiddies like this.
GENIUS Get er done...now the trailer can be loaded with crap and hooked back onto the truck👍🏾
Exactly!
Very talented!!!!
Yes, you should see him on a job site.
Very clever. But ramps work well too!
In his case, this is his normal mode of work. This is the only way he loads and unloads, and it's fastest for him.
Who needs a trailer when you can do that lol
Not him!
Very cool. I work for Bobcat so see a lot of talented skid/track drivers but this is good. Is there a video of him getting the machine off?
Not yet, but he does get it off several times a day without ramps...at least he did with that truck. Yes, he is very good.
Wheres the engine oil pickup?
I have no idea.
Jeez, had to see it to appreciate it.
Agreed
Impressive!!
Yessir!
Skill, I recommend everybody get one.
Sure. Makes sense.
Boss
Hoss
I'm not easily impressed, But that was impressive!!!
I was equally impressed the first time I saw this.
Impressive
It certainly is.
I salute you sir.
At ease.
MAAAAAAAAD SKILLS!!! 😳
For sure
Now where’s the unloading video at?
I’ll see if I can get you one.
I knew a guy that did that with forks on. Fork broke. Came back in the cab and went threw his chest. Always use the bucket.
Sad. I believe it.
Hard to get laid with a fork through the chest. Ima hold off on that trick.
Now, that dude knows his shit. 👍
Si Senor.
Pretty impressive, curious how you unload?
Thanks! I'll see if I can get a video of that.
@@SouthwestORV sweet!
The same way lol
you do the same thing in reverse.
I’m guessing that he does everything he just did,but in reverse order.
I just have to say. There are ALOT of Dudley Doo Rites on this thread lol. "What about the oil" lol good god man. Either it's his equipment that's why hes so good with it, or he just dont give a flying F about the oil because he's doing stuff with it that shouldn't be physically possible lol. But all some of these folks are worried about is the oil lol. Really that's what gets you off huh, gotta comment about how bad this potentially is because of the lack of oil for a few seconds while it's on end, get over it. This is impressive oil or no oil. Plus the Ol Ford didn't budge an inch, just pointing that out.
Yessir. The oil issue isn’t a problem for him.
Well done
Agreed.
It's easy to get it up there but getting off the truck is something I never could master with the old flatbed. the bucket digs in and the bobcat ended up tipping back and hitting the truck.
I should publish the getting of video.
@@SouthwestORV giggity...
@@SouthwestORV please do. Have a similar setup an would appreciate the unloading video. Better yet getting on an off in one video. Thanks!
Yep 👍🏻
Ha!
😂 i have one i gotta try this freaking flawless he definitely spent a few hours on a bobcat
Right? That's all he does for work, all day long.
Never have I seen. You sir are indeed like that guy says …one bad mf bro
Yes he is.
Nice touch tho!you got a good skills!!👍👍
Yes he does.
They are a blast. Until they brake down.
I've been impressed, this guy (the owner/operator in the video) has not had many issues with his Bobcats.
You couldn't do this with the older models. Operator would get thrown out of the cab.
Ikthis is late af but what kind of truck and rear suspension statistics planning on something soon
I think it’s an F550
Same way I load my mine on my Prius 😅😅😅
That's cool. Do you own the new Prius HD flatbed? ;)
My boss always yells at me when I put it on two wheels. Lol
You'll have to do what this guy does, and become the boss yourself. When it's your machine, nobody can tell you what to do!
Don’t think my track loader will do this. 😅
Turn on a camera and try! We'd love to see it.
Goddamn that guy's good!
For certain
engine oil pressure has left the chat.
And even so...machine continues to do this day after day for years without a problem.
That's awesome.
Yes it is
Lmao! That's some impressive skill right there.
Yessir. He's an amazing operator.
I would've never believed it if I hadn't seen it
It's funny, living in this community it becomes normal. He does this several times a day.
That's cool bro🤙
Yessir, especially on a job site.
Jebus what a badass! \m/
He’s good
Just like a boss
And he is the boss!
That's ridiculous! And I thought I was pretty good with a skidster
Folks give him funny looks a lot, but he stays busy because he's a magician with it.
@@SouthwestORV.. lol I see that, he's like the MJ of skidsters!
You've inspired me! I need to film and publish a video entitled "Skidsteer Moonwalk".
Just like that . 🦅
Yessir
people are incredible
Especially this guy
Then man invented ramps ...
Kinda like a step backwards huh?
Pretty SLICK!!!!
None better!
nailed it ..🇩🇪👌🏻.. Top notch
Yes he did
Not sure how engine could keep oil circulation or how he didn't lose hydraulic charge but slick nonetheless
Right? But his machines are fine day in, day out, for years on end.
Beast
Yessir.
I’d be scared to death. Just loading it on a trailer, on the ramps feels bad
Have you seen the stunts he does at carnivals or monster truck shows?
@@SouthwestORV nope
MAAAAN I can get it on the bag of that!, Billy Hold my Beer
Yep.
Not bad just have to make sure you have enough room to strap down the bucket. Always need two points of securement, bucket attacked to the machine is only one
Spoken with experience. Good points.
The forward tilting would have thrown my equilibrium off 🤔
Set the vertigo in motion!
Imagine the job he can do on basic Bobcat work! lol.
Yes, and what's great about this guy is he does it all well - the simple and the tricky stuff.
Wonder ? Bad for machine tipping it bet he’s a backblader
Time has proven otherwise. This guy is an owner/operator and has been for nearly a decade. All he does, all day long, is run his skid steer. And, he spends a great deal of time on two wheels. Time has proven that these machines can be on two wheels without an issue, for years on end.
better operator than me
He's better than most.
@@SouthwestORV you and hem kiss my bass
Can you do it in a CTL?
What is a CTL?
Cool but engines like oil.. At that angle it ain't getting much..
And yet, after years of doing this very thing every day...not a single negative side effect.
Its designed that way buddy, hi pressure Kubota oil pump.
Gotta love how people know so much about engines and feel entitled to comment lol Engines need Oil but you clearly don't understand shit
No way no way omg!! 😂❤❤❤ Wow
amazing right?
monster
Agreed
You done that before 😆
Right?
You can't buy experience, but you can pay for it. 👍
True, I paid him to level my lawn prior to sod just one week ago. Took him less than 10 minutes.
Dayum. ....that kid will be employed anywhere
He is about 40, and he owns his own skid steer business.
Vncbcnvjdnhxjc Ted jgjggfigjfktkgj
That can't be good for the engine
It also can’t be too bad for it, or it would have failed years ago
Can this be done with tracks?
Good question! I should ask him.
@@SouthwestORV I work with skid steers regularly. My boss wouldn't allow it lol but I would definitely love to know!
Yes...
