  • Hello guys,
    So this is a quick tutorial, I will show you the process of how I make Asanoha (Hemp Leaves) Pattern.
    The Asanoha pattern is a very popular traditional pattern from Japan. It's based on a hexagon and looks like a hemp leaf. “Asa” means hemp and “ha” means leaf.
    (olafolsson.com...)
    You might be familiar with this pattern. If you've ever watched Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer), this pattern is used on Nezuko's Kimono.
    Enjoy and stay safe...

      Yes, Tomioka also wears a similar pattern but with different colors.
      I think almost all the characters in Demon Slayer wear Japanese traditional patterns.

      I just make pattern swatches group in swatches panel, and save it. Basically it's just .ai file, everytime I need the pattern I just load it from Swatch Libraries Menu.

    May I use this tutorial to make the exact same design as the one in the tutorial, which I will sell later?

    • @nobudesign
      @nobudesign  4 роки тому

      some patterns that I made in the tutorial are commonly used in design. So I think it's legal to use on commercial projects.
