I went absolutely bonkers that day. The day I thought we would definitely win the league that season
I was at the Emirates that day. When Wellbeck scored, we celebrated so hard felt like I had run a marathon even after the game had ended 😂😂 my heart was racing!! Fans were all hugging random strangers in pure ecstasy and falling over seats! Really thought we were gonna win the league that season 💔

Ok, Sanchez in Arsenal was a beast
So many of these goals involved Özil and he's barely played over the last 3 years. He was definitely a special talent even if he was lacking on the defensive side.

Great compilation, but I would personally add also the following ones: Martinelli's solo against Chelsea, Martinelli's great header in a Europa League game, Pepe's two goals from two free kicks in a single game. So this video definitely needs Part 2 ;)

Classic Wenger stupidity - I was annoyed too that Perez was not given a fair chance - he had a strikers killers instinct. He also should have given oxlade chambo and Gnabry more chances but kept playing walcott instead ! I dont understand how any manager with half a brain could continue to use walcott, the way he was playing towards the end

Played him regularly in 2013/14 season for like a month till he got injured he then got acl along with Walcott out for 8 month then went on loan because players like Sanchez and welbeck came in his position didn’t get fit and didn’t get much mins on loan he then came back iwobi broke in to the team in 2015 adding more players ahead of him Walcott, Sanchez, chamberlain, welbeck, Joel Campbell and Alex iwobi all ahead of by 2016 didn’t wanna fancy to fight for spot( I won’t blame him) he knew he got talent he just need to showcase it where he can get opportunity. So he went to bundeslinga. Gnabry was given chance he was unlucky with injury and timing. For example Bellerin very lucky, we buy debuchy a solid right back he goes get injured for 3 month then he comes in and performs then debuchy comes back in his second game back gets injured for 7 month boom bellerin takes over. Some times it’s just luck. Like Leno and Martinez situation.

I still miss Sanchez I can’t lie 😢😢😢 I had him as I had him 6th in the world at his peak at Arsenal, behind only Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Lewandowski and Bale at the time. Hazard and Griezmann were also in the conversation for 6th at the time.
