That looks like an aftermarket speedometer. The factory one would have been the 85mph one with kph on the opposite side. This car must have been a restoration and a good one at that! I wonder what the back story is and how much it sold for.
Yep and with the speedometer being replaced with a 140mph one the mileage most likely is not correct with a lot more miles. I know a lot about these Camaros. After all I own, restored and modified my 1984 Camaro Z28 with same 140mph speedometer when I replaced my over 300,000 mile 305 V8 engine with a new 350 V8 in year 1999. Still have my 84 Camaro Z28 with 5 speed manual clutch for 30 years and won many 1st and 2nd place awards at local car shows and two time 82-92 Camaro class winner at the major Super Chevy Magazine show year 1998 and 2000. Also year 2001 and 2002 World Wide Camaro Magazine show. Was my daily driver show car till year 2002 and I only put around 41,000 miles on the newer 350 engine since year 1999 twenty five years later till this day sitting under a car cover. I got around $20,000 into restoring and modifying it and I don't think I will ever sell it with all the great memories. I drive it once a month to keep it going. Very fun car to drive and it makes me happy yelling wooooooo down the road : )
Lol that’s quiet compared to mine lol mine sounds like a dang race car or a monster truck whatever you prefer she loud like a bucket of bolts when you gun it down
Nice '83 Z28 with the optional L69 5.0 Liter H.O.
That's beautiful. Great condition
Beautiful, all original, unmolested '83 L69 car! 1st year for the H.O. motor, 3,223 built.
140 mph speedometer is not original but I like it better than the 85 mph one.
