Owned an interceptor for the past tqo years, did nearly 10k kms with it only on weekend roadtrips and it has been absolutely amazing. This machine has so much character, I absolutely love it! The passion visible in this video has enabled the resulting design to be fantastic!
I've owned your interceptor for 2 days now. Agile nimble great brakes beautiful engine purrs like a kitten. Royal Enfield you've really done it this time!!!!!!
2 days? Now I'm 38 months and nearly 29,000 miles. 2 bad light bulbs and a new battery and an awful lot of tires ground up. Very well made dependable bike that starts and runs perfectly at all times except........when it's 115F and doesn't want to idle at stoplights hahahaha. Not bad at all
Sounds like APPLE right? I think RE is one of the coolest Motorcycle brand. There bikes have character and charme. Something i miss throughout the other manufacturers.
535 was a dream bike for me and I shocked and tense when I got a new that it has discontinued but after launching twins I’m waiting and triying that when I will get get 650
Quality has been the biggest issue for RE. We have personally informed RE Top Boss to fire their quality control team, if at all it exists. The testing and the torture testing for well over Millions of Miles across various terrains are the same sentence used by Mr.Lal & his brilliant marketing team before launching Himalayan. We all saw and fell for the that. Hope it's not the case here.
If u want quality than price will increase three fold. In kiwi or other countries they put lighter and more balanced rods, with euro 4 model gets a catalytic converter which reduces the classic noise, sensors, paint job everything changes. If u want ur Enfield to look like Harley, BMW or triumph u get it in foreign or import it. The price is subtle and suits Indian market.
@@ShashankAdluri dude when i say quality, if not up to the standards of the brand's that you have mentioned atleast to an extent of taking it out for your daily commute. What if your bike priced at 2lacs keeps breaking down & you have pray to your God's that it doesn't every time you take it out. Mine and most other fellow rider bike's has spent more time in service centre then on road. So thats what I meant by saying RE should fire its quality control team if at all if it's exists.
I have bought a 650 Interceptor and it lives up to the media hype. A great fun easy handling bike. One major niggle is the footrest position and rear brake lever. When stopped at lights etc your front or back leg hits the pegs, they are right in the way. Also the rear brake lever to much lower than the centre line of the footrest making an uncomfortable stretch of your ankle. Still a great value bike, just a couple of aftermarket mods to buy.
ya tengo la mía, gracias a todos sus diseñadores que han participado en este precioso proyecto ( I already have mine, thanks to all its designers who have participated in this beautiful project)
j'ai acquis un nombre impressionnant de motos durant toute ma vie et doit admettre que cette Interceptor 650 est la plus passionnante que j'ai pu avoir ! Merci les balles d'argent.
A bike or car that can cut good corners is better than any high-speed or more powerful vehicle. (Gt86 or Miata >> Charger or GTR) for corner circuits or roads, Drifting is more fun than Drag racing or cornering is where true skill is required than straight highways.
I agree, there is much more fun and satisfaction taking a low power machine and riding it to 100% of it's ability than riding a mega power sports bike at 15% of it's ability, due to road conditions and traffic laws.
Don't make bold machine only, make more Classic reduce useless vibration focus on good exhaust note and make lower height with comfortable handle bar and use latest technology. Else Royal Enfield can be same as Nokia which ignored latest technology android and gone to dark. I love Royal Enfield and it's family so i want to see it's more success so i am just suggesting coz i love you alot.
My friend have ever rode a old bullet 4 speed ? There was no technology but it was pure motorcycling and the thump is absolutely amazing no new bike can copy that sound and the built quality was really very good.
I own a INT650 BS6. Everything about it is awesome except that the stock seat is totally uncomfortable. I dont know about the touring version. I am planning to test it after lockdown opens up.
Paul Ventura looks like Russel Crowe. Awesome bikes though. My dream bike used to be truipmh Bonneville. But thanks to the parallel twin, back to being Desi... I'm coming for you interceptor...
Aftermarket parts for those twins are extremely important. Do you hear this Royal enfield ? Down here in brazil 80% or more of int's and continental's parts just can't be found inside Royal enfield's dealerships. Be aware. of it.
Dear company please assure the good quality of the bikes even for long years and make sure about spare parts availablity to the customers. Lot of errors in the previous RE models such as classic 350, Thunderbird etc. Mainly to consider chain sprocket, brakes, electric wiring etc. These are scary factors to go for a RE because all other companies take care of their customers but RE sellers and service centre people are not for customers satisfaction they are looking for only money.. also please do take care of RE bikes that are not having free service slips. Do repair the bike without any mistakes on the service centre side. Thank you
I ride classic 350 from 2 years so far I have faced 2 problem s one is the clutch wire was cut and the other was with the bikes chains spoket other than these bike runs smooth
Still lot of problems in your interceptor....1) Rear footrest position needs to go in front by 2 inches very uncomfortable pillion seating position.....2) Seat is very uncomfortable and No backrest due to which pillion is falling down from the bike....3) No upside down fork system....4) headlight is not powerful in dark....for this high price you should give a projector headlight how you gave it in the thunderbird....5) brake pedal is too close to engine leading to extra Heat on legs....6 ) meter console does not show gear position etc details
@@royalenfield how can you sort the issues...these are your design and engineering flaws...which you can only fix by fully redesigning the interceptor by removing these issues
significantly? bro they are so mild that they can surely be compared with any other japanese brand. ridden it and loved it. i was a RE hater and still will be one because of their shitty vibes but the twins are exceptionally made to last
I really am keeping my fingers crossed. Hoping you guys will launch it after a good amount of test hours invested in it unlike Himalyan. As i brand i love all your bikes, even i hope these twins will give the economical Indians to own a bike which is reliable and feels premium.
