Bro, I think your aug has problem with nozzle and bucking (at 14 minutes 50 seconds). When you pull the bolt, the nozzle must be held by the bucking rubber until the nozzle is pulled by the bolt's cam pin. When you drop the bolt back to a few millimeters with minimal momentum, the bolt will never fully close because the resistance of the bucking rubber will keep your nozzle and bolt from closing completely. The only way to get the bolt and nozzle fully closed on a properly working gun is to use enough momentum. Please give me feedback if you agree with my opinion
This is a common misconception- the mechanical seal between the nozzle and bucking (or nozzle and mag gasket) is /not/ what keeps the nozzle sealed to the bucking during firing; rather it's the internal pressure within the nozzle that keeps it locked forward while the bolt recoils. An excessively tight bucking can cause feed issues, cyclic issues, or (eventually) tearing. Furthermore, since stock GHK guns use AEG buckings, it's normal for them to not stick at all- the nozzle merely presses against the bucking lips, as on an AEG. To properly test the seal it is necessary to plug the nozzle and pressurize the barrel, and you may find that a bucking/nozzle combo that does not 'stick' at all can still seal perfectly.
Nice video, just missing the newest best upgrade, my CNC aluminium feed lips :P By the way, you can also make my CO2 on CO2 mags by installing a fill valve and letting the empty cartridge in the mag.
@GbbJunkie Yeah, I have for GHK M4 V1 (really old and discontinued) and V2 (STANAG, G5 and GMAG. Newer lightweight and older heavy ones, not compatible between both), GHK AKM, WE M14, WE Mp5, TM MWS and GHK AUG. Soon I will get GHK AK74 and AK GMags, GHK 553, and PTS EPM. I'm also open to new developments.

Awesome video! I have the R904 by Army Armament, which has a built-in scope, but I was looking to mount a red dot on it as a backup. Would you be able to recommend one?
I bought the pdi w hold for my aug. Still got the stock rubber and its kinda a pain to get the the tnt stuff. I hope this will be the best bang for my buck.
I did. they do fit and i am very happy with the results :) and its way cheapter then getting the tnt stuff. And i dont think that a barrel would add much for me.
Does the TNT hop unit use a proprietary spec? I want to replace the barrel and bucking in mine, but it doesn't have a notch for the VSR bucking. Great video and thank you for pointing out some upgrades I was not aware of!
The T-NT hop unit is VSR-spec, it just doesn't have a slot for the usual alignment tab. If you cut that tab off the bucking you intend to use (preferably sanding it afterwards to get it smooth), you should be able to use any VSR-spec GBB bucking with it.
We have a few ideas in the works. It might be a little while before we release, though, as we have some significant events occurring in the near future as well as ongoing commercial projects.
Hello I just wanted to know if you would sell the barrel just by it self because I also have the GHK Aug and also wanted to know if you could work on it?
No matter how much or how little lube I but ok the bolt rails it still doesn’t seem to move completely free and struggles to return back to the seal not sure what I’m doing wrong or if my aug is just not working well
Question: Thx for the video,i needed this, just one slight issue that my charging handle seems to stuck everytime after fire, any adjustment suggested?
Ok so I’ve just bought one of these rifles and after inspecting the internationals as you suggested I’ve noticed that the pin holding the brass outer barrel alignment block is missing. The alignment block itself is friction fit quite nicely but should I be worried? I can’t find the pin on Samoon just the alignment block itself…
We'd recommend replacing the pin with a DIY replacement- a nail of appropriate size, cut to length, will do just fine. It's not strictly necessary, but will prevent that locking block from falling out of the barrel or swiveling improperly in its slot.
I’d like to put rails where the foregrip stands. Any idea of where i can purchase theses? ( i’d do my own search if u can tell me the n’aime of what j’me seeking) Thank you for this very instructive video
Corvus Defensio makes a rail which replaces the foregrip. We haven't tried it so can't vouch for it working without modification, but even if it does, it shouldn't be too much work since the GHK and real AUG gas blocks are so similar.
gotta love how the fire control unit on the real one is made of polymer and the airsoft one is made from metal. im sure theres a practical reason for this but i still find it funny XD
Awesome Video. I have one question regarding the Devilhunter Mod though. I own a SIG 553 and the magazines seem to be identical to the AUG Mags besides the outer plastic shell obviously. I own both CO2 and GG Mags and the CO2 Mag has a much thicker cylinder/reservoir than the GG Mag. So I am not sure if the Green Gas mag is going to blow up in my face if I do the mod.
Without any firsthand experience with the 553 magazines, we cannot advise filling them with CO2. It is possible that GHK makes a revised green gas magazine that does not use the same reservoir as the CO2 ones. It may be prudent to do some research and see if others have done the mod, and go from there.
@@ExplosiveEnterprises I have done alot of research and I cannot find any information on the 553. I've now looked at the CO2 and GG Mag from the AUG and it's the same difference. The CO2 Mag on the AUG is also around two times thicker than the GG one so I'm not sure if it's save on the AUG either.
Can you change the charging handle to the real steel or is there an aftermarket solution as I have had mine break of twice and I suspect the metal used gets brittle over time and after multiple returns of the bolt and Carrier it creates tiny fractures that get bigger over time and eventually the charging handle snaps off.
Hi, I bought the GBB A2 months ago and I'm still waiting to reveive it. In the meantime I wasnt sure a 100% that the Charging handle was plastic or metal. I'm still and was looking to this video to confirm the information. It seems that it's plastic because it is the same color as the foregrip and body. I found and I have bought a metal one online for 10$. If you can confirm that it's plastic and you want the link from where I got the metal Charging Handle just reply to my comment. Thanks.
bro, do you use silicone oil or grease for the guides and bolts?. I just bought a 1000cs viscous heavy silicone oil bottle from Evike for my ghk aug. Can i use that silicone oil for my aug metal components?
30wt silicone oil is good for the O-rings on the bolt; otherwise silicone grease is the best choice for bolts and other metal-on-metal contact. 30wt is 350 cSt so the stuff you have is probably a good substitute for grease; but if it works for you on bolts then go for it.
@@ExplosiveEnterprises Do you often see metal particles or black marks mixed with lubricant on ghk aug bolt guides? I frequently see the lubricant on the guide bar turning black after firing a few magazines, Is this normal for the aug or does my guide have too much friction with the upper receiver? I'm happy to see your video, sorry if my english skills are poor :((
The only rails officially available for the GHK AUG are GHK's A3-styled top rail and the CQC quad front rail, but we've also seen conversions of commercial rails (eg Corvus Defensio, Midwest Industries). FG-Airsoft made an export A2 styled top rail, but they are now several years defunct.
quick question, i am currently running the standard nozzle and I am getting close to 2J when using nuprol red and .33 bbs and now I am wondering how the 1J nozzle works with the DH mod because I cant have more than 1.1 joules on the cqb field. Does it really lower the power below 1 joule even with the DH mod? Also, on the cqb field I am using .2g bbs.
DH mod shouldn't affect FPS much; in some setups it can actually cause muzzle velocity to decrease. A fully broken-in 1J nozzle using .2s should stay below 1.1J even with DH mod. Worst case, the grub screw mod is an effective means of control.
Explosive Enterprises That’s a shame, if they used the same gas system I’d buy one to use with all my pmags. Thanks for the info though, means a lot :)
