as someone non-binary, hearing bakugo say that respecting someone’s gender should be normal, and the fact he got confused we got so happy makes me cry. i have come out to plenty of people, including my family. and knowing their opinion of me hasn’t changed, and they are merely accepting it as a norm is more comforting then them being all excited about it. because that shows they don’t view you differently, that you’re still the same person. you just express yourself differently. it’s like getting a haircut, or wearing different clothes. it doesn’t change who you are inside, it just changes how you decide to express yourself outside.

That hugging bit made me think about an audio about a Haphephobic (Afraid/uncomfortable around touch) listener. Maybe with a more physically affectionate character like Tengen Uzui or Hawks.
