I was almost as good as them when i was in band in middle school. When wed play on stands and not carrying i could play the bass part and the snare part at the same time. There were quite a few girls liked it but not exactly the kinda girls that get a man street cred lol as far as i know i was the only kid to ever be able to play two parts at once in her class to this day and i've been graduated for 4 years and that was in middle school. I played with the high school marching band, i was like my band teachers swiss army knife, she had me on this and that and all kinds of stuff haha not a fan of the xylophone anymore. Having to learn that sumbitch in an hour sucked! Haha

@@artifaqt non taken...i love all drums...but it was way off beat and tempo....i do love drum lines tho..but i also love drum kits..and if you are a drummer there is no true drum..you love them all including cymbals as they are all percussion so for a snare to be a (true) drum is not correct..but yes nothing like a good snare drum
HydrAquas I drop some of my fingers sometimes as well it's a lot easier when doing rolls I feel that my pinky gets in the way and basically use my index and middle finger to balance and give power to the hit
For anyone wondering what is happening, The man wearing black was from Whittier College, and the kid in red was from Whittier Christian High School. Unfortunately, Whittier College's football program was canceled in the past year and the field is only used for other sports and Whittier Christian High School Football. As for Whittier Christian, their instrumental programs were not as they used to be. The drumline has dwindled to less than 10 members. The school is still in possession of the snare and its harness used in the video.
