My presumption is Vaush's audience are primarily ignorant young zoomers. Some will inevitably become less ignorant and will start think independently, which will lead them to realize how foolish they were for listening to an extremist, disingenuous r-word like Vaush.
People lose interest too. When I was younger I was a diehard Sargon fan, however over time I just spent less and less time watching him and political content because it's kind of exhausting and boring after a while. I still go back from time to time, but it's not with the same degree of interest as before. A lot of his audience will grow out of this and look for something more interesting to do with their time.

Yeah its politics is exhausting and what Ive been finding is that as time goes on, commentators tend to become more and more extreme in their viewpoints. Sargon, as an example, still has many thoughtful points of view, but its starting to get lost in his more and more hardcore conservative position. Even today, it crossed my mind that the course he is on will essentially land him as being an atheist version of a 90s era Evangelicon. His view points are becoming more and more dogmatic, fueled by his own personal philosophical view and that to correct society we need to fully embrace his positions, unless we fall into 'sin'.

Essentially the people who this all appeals to, which is a VERY broad category, only care about social power - they place little value on intellectualism, only the aesthetic of it. Hence, Vaush acts like a warlord - Why bother forming coherent arguments or establishing principles or values when image and tribalism gets you farther? His strategy is to continually shift to both appeal everyone in the bread sphere and cause massive amounts of controversy so he is continually being talked about and has engagement. That couples with trying to provoke people with large audiences, so he can snag the portion of their audience that only hatewatches them.

Classical Marxism differs from Neo-Marxism, Marxism-Leninism, Maoism, Fascism etc. on couple of points, especially on how to bring the revolution and economic theory. Marx was called out by French socialists in the 1880s for being incompetent economist and basically liar, that is why later movements went to different directions, some of them, like Fascism, switched from materialism to idealism. Most modern Marxists distance themselves from classical Marxism for strategical reasons, and especially American marxists are mostly Neo-Marxists, who disavowed classical Marxism. That is why they don't talk about this.

I'll never forget when I was lurking in vaush' chat, and he made his claim about the basis of his morality when someone asked. I'm sure we've all heard it, but he basically says that he was exposed to certain values growing up, and that morality is subjective and he arbitrarily values what he was raised to value.
So I started spamming, "you mean you were brainwashed?" He actually read my chat, then did the vaush thing of overexplaining the meaning of a word so that the definition means whatever it needs to for him to be correct, and then I got banned.
I really wish I had the clip. Or, that he would invite me to debate him on something that easy to win. He said something along the lines of, "No, I wasn't brainwashed. I was just taught from a young age to value these completely arbitrary things with the fervor of a religious zealot. Brainwashing isn't a real thing. The term was invented by a far right extremist in the 1800s to explain why some white people suddenly think black people are humans. It has no basis in reality." Obviously, my details are wrong, but it was just a genetic fallacy and refusing to define the word.
Another thing I really want a socialist to explain to me is how the concept of whiteness is different to the Jewish question. They're practically identical. Nazis believed the jews were a race, not a religion, and they had in group preferences that lead to them having a disproportionate amount of power and influence. That's literally the basis of the holocaust, but saying the exact same thing about white people is OK.
Cant comment about the first part, but in regards to Nazism and the hardcore left, it is that despite how many of them decry the evils of Fascism and Nazism, they employ the same tactics and mental magic that made such reprehensible tragedies possible. But we also have to point out that Hitler in the end, didn´t like Marx because of the fact that he was an ethnic jew and also thought that Marxism was a jewish conspiracy.
He saw the Sowjet-Union and the US as jewish-controlled states and wanted to stop this "conspiracy" with his own version of Socialism.
We must provide the full context, otherwise people could make arguments like: "But Hitler hated Marx.", which is true but doesn´t contradict with the claim that Hitler was a Socialist.
Some people also like to say that: "Hitler hated Communism and claimed that Nationalsocialism was completely different which proves my point."
But this claim alone can´t magically make all the similarities between Communism and Nationalsocialism go away.
It also highlights their hypocrisy because everytime Hitler talks in detail about his affection to Socialism whether in public or in private, they are eager to dismiss them as mere "lies" and claim that you simply can´t trust anything he ever said while treating every statement that seems to position him just slightly farther away from one aspect of Socialism as word of god.

You have to keep in mind that when Marxists say "materialism", they don't only mean materialism in the sense that matter is the fundamental substance of reality, but the Marxist expansion on that which is that the relationship of classes to the means of production is what determines what they call the superstructure of society. So Marxists are perfectly fine with saying that the bourgeoisie are controlling society, since the bourgeoisie by definition are those controlling the means of production, but if somebody else starts getting more specific and pointing out certain rich people and organizations doing specific things, they'll flip out and say you are not being "materialist" since you are distracting from the bourgeoisie as a whole. Take the Nazis, for example. They attacked certain rich people, who they identified as mostly Jewish, for controlling society in an anti-Aryan direction, but they weren't out to destroy capitalism as a whole. Marxists tend to view conspiracy theories as fascist because they view them as letting capitalism as a whole and the bourgeoisie as a whole off the hook, in exchange for blaming specific rich groups or actors.
It's basically an epistemically closed system because they refuse to look at evidence showing the WEF has this specific plan, or George Soros is funding this specific thing, since it makes out that the problems are those specific policies and funding decisions (which they often agree with), rather than capitalism as a complete system. Of course, it gets extra weird because Vaush isn't even an orthodox Marxist. He's basically cargo culting academic sounding arguments he's heard without understanding the basis for them.

The reason Vaush is able to say completely self-contradicting stuff like this without the slightest hint of self-awareness is because he doesn't actually value language for its capacity for expressing truth. For him it's just an instrument of control and a way to dominate others. The hypocrisy doesn't exist for him because there is no objective standard, it's all just about a zero-sum game of acquiring influence and saying anything and everything to assassinate the character of his rivals to win the audience. Sex in humans is determined by the presence or absence of the Y chromosome. Presences of Y is male. Absence is female. This is determined before birth. You could theoretically have mosaicism of cells with different sex chromosomes... I dont know of any cases, but there would still be a majority, and if you dont have a background in genetics or medicine you should presume this isnt the case. So normal and common genotypes are determined by the y chromosome: XO, XX, XXX, XXXX, etc are Female. XY, XYY, XXY, XXXY etc are Male.
Outside of human species sex is usually determined by the smaller gamete is sperm and therefore the male is what produces it. But that gets a lot more variable and tbh very interesting :)

I think people need to look into who harms trans people the most because it's not people you would associate with being right wing. That doesn't stop these guys from making the claim that a large percentage of the right wing would be fine with ending them in minecraft. It's a claim freely admitted that can't be backed up, but it's still agreed as true. You're doing exactly what you're accusing Vaush of (and I can't stand Vaush) by claiming it's true simply because you feel it in your gut.
Most people I know take issue because classifying it as sex is going to destroy women's healthcare and research. It wasn't until the 90s that it was even accepted in science that women's bodies react differently to medications than a man's and that women can present with completely different symptoms than a man with the same problem. That doesn't mean I don't recognize that they exist or that I want to minecraft them. It means there's a limit because they're trampling over my rights and endangering women.
Edit: It's also interesting that as an anorexic I understand that my mind is telling me something that's not true about my body so I need to better associate reality with what my mind sees, because that will improve my life and feelings about myself. Trans is a very similar process in the brain, but despite all the evidence to the contrary, telling them having expensive surgeries with horrific outcomes is the best treatment. Just ignore that's the opposite of global experts in the field.

I don't know who this guy is but he doesn't understand the difference between ideology versus action yes tribes act in that manner but tribalism is based on an ideology of them trying to defend and promote a certain set of social characteristics that they feel helps promote the general welfare of their tribe which ends up manifesting itself in very aggressive manners to strike out other tribes but authoritarianism is a separate ideology in itself where one person/organization has the authority to say how the whole society and dictate what they deem is socially acceptable in their society so they are different even though they are both on the same side 💯
