I hope that Hardwired... To Self-Destruct is even heavier than Death Magnetic which already returned Metallica to their 80's style. Man, 2016 is such a killer year for thrash metal.
When I was a kid the two best cutting edge American bands - not even close - REM and Metallica. Two completely different groups but very similar in some respects. Great era '83-'87.
