Glad that you mentioned prices in $ Canadian. In your first XVS1300 video you mentioned doing 120 on the highway, and I thought Jeez! That’s impressive. 120 KmH makes a lot more sense! Just about to get one of these myself, in that colour. I’m in England.
Great video. I'm a very new biker and just (3 days ago) bought my first bike. A 2014 V-Star 1300. I know I'll be making mods to it in the future and will be looking forward to checking out your other videos to assist me with the mods. Thanks.
Most people all worried about what their bike sounds like at a distance don’t really ride much. The person that does ride a lot is more concerned about tires, gas, and oil changes.
I'm a non-mechanic but want-a-be. This was a real new one on me. Now, I have to think about warranty. Thanks for the education. Looking forward to the gel seat. I have the mustang typical two piece.
Ok Tim, I disagree with those that just jump in here and say your too cheap and just buy and install aftermarket exhaust as most or all of the replacements will not be as large and leave a funky larger space (its bad enough with the original muffler) between the muffler and bottom of saddle bag and this should be the natural progression away from the OEM exhaust until you find that balance of money spent and desired sound compromises for those that don't already know the answers... But I do have a couple questions about your drill out mod. FIrst, did you notice any torque or power loss, or any additional engine noise coming from under your fuel tank (be most noticeable when riding with your windshield on) any fueling issues, or fuel mileage loss?
Hi Timothy. I have one new . The same bike. Is this sound really good? Is not this new sound after drilling too much noiseyer? Or not too much noise? And is not this drilling have make problems for normal working of engine??? Thank you very much, for more information...!
