It sounds like one kind of greeting. When people ask me 'How are you', for not talking much detail, I usually say 'Everything is OK'.
There are many kinds of phrases to start a conversation. As the video said, it equals to 'Hello'.

That was a great lesson. Thank you!!! I came from Taiwan and I thought I was the only one who had a problem with answering a simple question of "How are you?" In Taiwan we simply say "Hello" to each other and if we really care, we would follow up with a more specific question. This way the one answering gets the hint that you truly want to know more about them.

It is simply a greeting. A way of being cordial Do not tell them how you are. They don’t care.

I'm very stressed out nowadays 'cuz I do 18 years old recently so...yeah, peoples around you saying that you won't be able to reach your dreams and objectives or something like that, a "pression" from the society that you NEED be someone that have more and more money, and go on...I'm not sure if a write all words right, probably not but that "style of teach" of this teacher is so funny that I think "so...why not to try write something?" so that's it!
